21 november
She needs matches or something? Maybe the closest tournament from her home I guess, which would explain why.
Anything but the title would be an embarassment at her level...

It's just a couple hours of ferry ride, why not?

Maybe she's been training on something and wants to try it out?

Or maybe she's just a workaholic. There are plenty of those around, why can't they be tennis players too?

Probably the closest to home possible.
There is only two tournaments in Estonia, and those are two 10K during AO.

Her own reasoning:
in the end of November I am planning to play a small ITF tournament in Helsinki, Finland. Many have asked why I am going to participate in such tournament and the answer stands clear- I need to play more competitive tennis cause otherwise pause from it would be too long for me. Nevertheless, this tournament is small but still there is compettive factor in it. Secondly, Helsinki is close to my home and it suits good in our preparation cycle.

Some have speculated it might be because of doubles, as Anett Kontaveit got a WC to Helsinki.

That would explain it. Tryin to build up a strong FCup team to come back to WG 2 ;)

Well, if Kvitova can do it, why not Kaia?:oh: Plus Kaia also ended at #34 for the year (like Petra did in 2010 )

Great! Hopefully I'll get to see her play live again.:)

And yes, it's very easy to travel between Tallinn and Helsinki. The quickest ferries take only 90 minutes to cross the gulf of Finland.

The women's tournament will be held during the same week as men's IPP Open challenger. We don't have any bigger tournaments here, so this will be exciting. :bounce:
