I like live albums, they're great if done right.

Iron Maiden - Live at Donington (1993)
Linkin Park - Live in Texas (2003)
Flogging Molly - Live at the Greek Theatre (2010)
KISS - Alive! (1975)
KISS - Alive! II (1977)
KISS - Alive! III (1993)
KISS - Millenium Concert (2000)
Eagles - Eagles Live (1980)

A compilation with these songs played live on it:

Disc 1:
1. Killer Queen - Queen
2. I Want You To Want Me - Cheap Trick
3. The Boys Are Back In Town - Thin Lizzy
4. Rock And Roll All Nite - Kiss
5. School's Out - Alice Cooper
6. Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple
7. Locomotive Breath - Jethro Tull
8. Bat Out Of Hell - Meat Loaf

Disc 2:
1. Heroes - David Bowie
2. Dreamer - Supertramp
3. Do You Feel Like I Do - Peter Frampton
4. Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again - The Angels
5. A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall - Bob Dylan
6. Pride And Joy - Stevie Ray Vaughan
7. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
8. American Woman - The Guess Who

Live albums I might get in the future:

Evanescence - Anywhere But Home
KISS - Alive IV
Metallica - S&M
Guns N' Roses - Live Era '87-'93

Probably others I might get but I can't think of ATM.

Same. I also bought Triple js, Before Too Long...the tribute to Paul Kelly. Missy Higgins blew me away in a couple of those songs.

I generally avoid live albums for whatever reason - I guess I feel the best work is done in the studio :o

I have:

Jane's Addiction Live
and Bob Marley and The Wailers - Babylon By Bus

Not many, not sure why. I'd rather buy a DVD of the concert/gig than buy a live album tbh.

The only ones I can think of are:

Bon Jovi - One Wild Night
Robbie Williams - Live at Knebworth
and
a Linkin Park one, can't remember what it's called (EDIT: Probably Live in Texas)

Me too, though I sometimes buy live DVDs.

The only live album I have is Celine Dion at Olympia in Paris. And she is excellent as she can actually sing live!

I also love Ani DiFranco's album Living in Clip. Can't say I own it anymore as I had to sell most of my CDs when I fell into poverty back in '05. But it's an amaze life album. :hearts:

I don't have that yet (I have most of their albums). Must pick it up sometime.
