This year was really a tough one for me. There were several traumas and I decided to take care and restore my health," she said.
"It doesn't mean that I'm over with my sport career. I just took a pause for an unknown period of time. So all my goals now are related with this party project."

how many 'pauses' have we seen that became an unannounced retirement in the past few years?

Sounds like she's got other things in her mind right now  Maybe she's got a few contracts that would stop bringing revenues if she retired? Anyway, hope she's back one day.

not much hope of seeing her playing professional tennis ever again  such a pity that robbery ruined her career :(

The robbery was horrible and surely traumatic, but it certainly didn't end her tennis career....

I just wish she would get her 2006-2007 form back.

Its great if she keeps playing, but if she's gonna be an also-ran from now on then what's the point. Im sure if her health problems continue she will retire, Im pretty sure it's no fun being a journeywoman when you were once top 5.

This. She has a condition that makes her feel faint on court. That's impossible to reconcile with a career in athletics.

I hope she comes back. The more good players the better it is.
