Excuse me... but Kimiko broken her left rist and pinky just before the US open,
and this week was a first event without any bandage.
This is a new start for Kimiko. :bounce:

Also she's having a hip joint ache since yesterday's 2nd set but didn't give up.
I can't believe she actually won the titile.

Hope she can still play next week but no doubt will be a tough one.

Baltacha is top 50 what a joke ! But then 400 points for beating Jamie Hampton (twice), Mona Barthel and Sloane Stephens in her fortuitous grand slam first round draws this year, shows how much difference the luck of the draw can make to your ranking. Well done Kimiko !

I know! Baltacha is the most overranked player on the WTA atm...

Well except maybe for Caro :oh:

Kimiko says she finally got her rhythm back. :bounce:
Good news for Kimiko cause her style of tennis is playing with rhythm.
And she lost it since the injury in Auguest but now it's officially back.

Although she does have some problems with her body here and there, due to the tight schedule,
hope her body won't collapse in Taipei this week.

Her 1R is on Wednesday and then 5days in a row...OMG

When is the AO MD cut-off? and what ranking is the cut-off?
Kimiko has nothing to defend for the rest of the year - she is in Taipei and probably Toyota 75k+H. I think a couple victories here and there should be enough to push her back to top 100

Dubai 75k is the last tournament that counts to AO MD cut-off.
So after Taipei she might play Toyota and Dubai. ;)
