Today I am doing my walk while posting this. Anyway the doubles draw was annouced and me with Alexandra has to take on the 2nd seed in doubles but with the rain here in Barnstaple for 3 days now. I also heard that the hockey for the 2012 Olympics will be blue for the ground and pink on the outside which is so strange knowing that it is green usually, also the color of the ball will be a yellow color which I think would be good for hockey in GBR. Anyway I went on the FWTT webiste where the betting is really intersting putting me at 75 to 1 chance of winning which I think will be wrong because my game is looking good but with my junior friend Annliese Tomic making the final in Malaysia and maybe for her second title.
I am hoping that at least some games are on today because I am getting restless. :wavey: Bye for now.
Emma got a good start to her senior career by surprising last year's upset player Pippa; the junior Anna, however, had little problem dispatching Alijah.
Of course the one time I qualify on my own there are three lucky loser spots...:tape:
But they are only rewarded points for the last match they won right? So if a LL and Miranda both lose in the first round Miranda gets more points right?

Aleesha Stosur Saturday Blog
Yesterday the qualfying matches were on and I was hoping to get in to the main draw.
In the opening qualfying round there was only one upset of the round with Emma Anderson beating the 7th qualfying seed of Pippa Mydelton. I was on court 1 to support Maria Broseghini which lost in the match as it was just in time because my match in the Second Qualfying Round was about to start in 20 minutes. So I ran so quickly that I was tired once I got there. My coach WTAtennis2011 wasn't happy at all with me being late for practice. "I am super sorry that I was late because I was supporting Maria Broseghini on the court 1". My coach just said :help:.
My game was just about to start and I lost the toss as I had to serve first. The first couple of games got off to a good start after taking the break of serve from my 8th seed oppent. Everytime there was a break or serve I would look up at the scores from the other 3 courts happening. Miranda Bothavska was trying to break me but I hold on to win the first set 6/3. I looked up at the scoreboards from the other 3 courts and Emma Anderson was struggling 6/1 1/0 while Yanet Mori-Tu won her first set 6/3. But then I went uphill as I was ahead 5/0 before diaster. That's right I lost the next 7 games to lose the second set 7/5 and WTAtennis2011 wasn't a happy chappy at all and slap me in the face.. That was my readygo as I served the ball like a rocket out of a cannon but for somehow, Miranda Bothavska didn't let any passed her which made my coach :fiery:. Miranda Bothavska took the break and made the score 6/5 in the third with her serving the match. She finally won as my coach just left the stadium.
Two minutes later I recived a text from the manager 'Cage' and I wasn't happy at all. "Annliese Tomic has gone to jail after putting an outrage in Malaysia so I need you to go where Annliese Tomic went and come with my junior partner". I couldn't believe it as I just went . Anyway today I am on court 2 for both my singles and doubles match today. As I would say bye bye for now :wavey:

Alijah Pemovic "Im leaving Australia"
Alijah Pemovic stated "Im leaving Australia" After her 1st round doubles lost in ITF Barnstaple, she is set to go home to Novi Sad and apply for a citizenship there. "Australia has basically done nothing with me, they haven't funded me or anything, I have so little support from Aussies, that i have made the hard decision to moving back to Novi Sad with my family.

Singles Quarterfinals; Results
Nadia Banaszek def. Stefania Di Francesca-Beck 7/5, 6/3
Stefania coming off a couple of big results and it didn't quite work out here as Nadia muscled through in straight sets.
[3]Alexandra Anastadis def. [LL]Emma Anderson 7/6(6), 6/7(6), 7/6(14)
Emma will be pleased with her first tournament; in this battle of wits she came up just short, but someone has to win even in a match with nineteen match points.
[WC]Ariel Aries def. Jessamine Minella 7/5, 7/5
Ariel had few problems in this one, returning well in a key stage of the match.
[2]Berenika Wojnarowska def. [Q]Yanina Wickmayer 4/6, 7/5, 7/6(4)
Berenika wants a way out of Britain but it didn't quite show. She took her frustrations out on her doubles partner by engineering a four-hour deathmatch.

[WC]Ariel Aries def. Nadia Banaszek 6/3, 2/6, 7/5
Ariel caps a fine week with a topsy-turvy match, where she eventually took the third with more regular groundstrokes.
Ariel Congratulations on an amazing win this week. Tell us how you feel.
Well im just cracking into seniors after a successful run in juniors and its been rough. I feel like i just needed a lower tier title to get me going and now im over the moon.
Talk about the up and down final with your doubles partner.
Well Nadia and i have played on several occasions. If i see her in the draw i will always team in doubles with her if she wishes cause we make a good team and she is nice person. As for the final i lost my mind in the second set. i needed to come back in the 3rd and Nadia was on a roll. At 5-5 i thought she had it.
Lastly how did you react to comments of Nthamangela Mbangu-Zeric, saying this is her last season?
Although im new, she has always been the vision on the tour i learnt alot from her in juniors and it will be a sad lost to the tour
