Mmmmmm, England played well on the second day, thankfully, but they're gone now.

Go Aussies!!

(Let's hope for stiffer competition from the brits for the rest of the series..... we don't want this to be too easy, do we?)

This is disgraceful.

I mean, it's nice to have your team win, but not in such an absurd way.

Nov 10th, 2002, 12:29 PM

5-0 already (or is 6 tests?)

Well, I have never seen the English Criket Team lose a Test (Yes I have been to some). If the ECB wish to pay for me to travel with the team they are more then welcome

Nov 10th, 2002, 07:49 PM
What NOOOOOOO ........ England lost

Who would have thought it was possible when all the England fans thought they'd go there and kick ass.

Its gonna be a 5-0 demolition.
Maybe there should be a Rest of world vs AUS test series.

Nov 10th, 2002, 10:24 PM
I think the big majority of England fans approached the series with a fair measure of dread and full knowledge of the near certainty of defeat, we English our hardly guilty of talking our cricket team up, no one makes fun of them more than ourselves...they've have long been treated as a national joke.

Its just that it would be nice to beat the Aussie team, who are blessed with immense talent, though not immense modesty.

Anyway we only get about 8 sunny days a year to play cricket, you can play it 24/7 in OZ. Nearly.

Time for bodyline tactics again methinks... Aim for their teeth! :)

I like Simon Jones's explanation for his injured knee: "the grass is different here"!! LOL
How're we supposed to win when you bloody Aussies mess around with the grass? ;)
