Agnieszka's last tournaments of 2011: Tokyo, Beijing, MoscowTeamUla Sep 9th, 2011, 08:51 PM Now that US Open's over for Aga - time to go on and try to make some success in Asia and Europe indoors. Let's go! saul1333 Sep 9th, 2011, 08:58 PM Good luck :D Hopefully not last (YEC :)) Cinek Sep 9th, 2011, 09:06 PM Please Aga play in Linz ;) SwingVolley93 Sep 10th, 2011, 07:53 PM Does she have the possibility to play in the YEC if she does well? adner Sep 10th, 2011, 09:33 PM Mathemathical yes, practical basically no. If Stosur loses today she'd be 900 points behind 8th Petkovic, if not 1200 points behind 8th Bartoli. Theoretically speaking a SF in Tokyo, Beijing and Moscow gives 1045 points so definitely not enough. She is 800 points away from 10th spot too so a season-ending Top 10 spot is unlikely too. saul1333 Sep 23rd, 2011, 06:27 AM Tokyo draw (1)Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) v Bye Rebecca Marino (CAN) v Jarmila Gajdosova (AUS) Qualifier v Jie Zheng (CHN) Kaia Kanepi (EST) v (15)Flavia Pennetta (ITA) (9)Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) v (wc)Misaki Doi (JPN) Qualifier v Bojana Jovanovski (SRB) Barbora Zahlavova Strycova (CZE) v Anastasija Sevastova (LAT) (8)Jelena Jankovic (SRB) v Bye (3)Victoria Azarenka (BLR) v Bye Irina-Camelia Begu (ROU) v Qualifier Qualifier v Klara Zakopalova (CZE) (wc)Kristyna Pliskova (CZE) v (16)Shahar Peer (ISR) (10)Shuai Peng (CHN) v Qualifier Christina McHale (USA) v Tamira Paszek (AUT) Irina Falconi (USA) v Ayumi Morita (JPN) (7)Marion Bartoli (FRA) v Bye (6)Samantha Stosur (AUS) v Bye Qualifier v Maria Kirilenko (RUS) 8wc)Laura Robson (GBR) v Alexandra Dulgheru (ROU) Qualifier v (12)Ana Ivanovic (SRB) (14)Dominika Cibulkova (SVK) v Magdalena Rybarikova (SVK) Iveta Benesova (CZE) v Anastasiya Yakimova (BLR) Gisela Dulko (ARG) v Tsvetana Pironkova (BUL) (4)Vera Zvonareva (RUS) v Bye (5)Petra Kvitova (CZE) v Bye Qualifier v Kimiko Date-Krumm (JPN) Vania King (USA) v Shuai Zhang (CHN) Arantxa Rus (NED) v (11)Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS) (13)Julia Goerges (GER) v Pauline Parmentier (FRA) Greta Arn (HUN) v Sofia Arvidsson (SWE) Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA) v Petra Cetkovska (CZE) (2)Maria Sharapova (RUS) v Bye Kind of close to a qualifier  adner Sep 23rd, 2011, 07:21 AM And the qualifier faces Bojana, Ula's favourite 1st round opponent  Aga got a point-awarding bye :oh: Cinek Sep 23rd, 2011, 11:46 AM 2 matches is winnable :) Come on! SwingVolley93 Sep 23rd, 2011, 05:23 PM This tournament is actually exciting. Aga has the opportunity to play Jankovic again after what 3 years? (RG 4r? 2008) Now she is the better player so that will be a fun match to watch. Then Aga will need to want revenge on the Wozzinator and turn into Aga BallbashWanska somehow and blow her off the court. I've accepted the fact that Aga will most likely not be in the YEC so this Tournament shall be fun to watch! :cheer: Jerem Sep 23rd, 2011, 06:30 PM http://i47.servimg.com/u/f47/15/87/91/56/agadoi10.png ... Karolina Woźniacka 7395 pkt (21 tournaments in the season) 2. Maria Szarapowa 6370 (14) 3. Petra Kvitova 5691 (17) 4. Wiktoria Azarenka 5590 (19) 5. Na Li 5351 (17) 6. Wiera Zwonariowa 5190 (20) 7. Samantha Stosur 4975 (19) 8. Marion Bartoli 4455 (25) 9. Agnieszka Radwańska 4190 (18) 10. Andrea Petković 4130 (18) Only 16 tournaments count, so Aga is in better situation than Bartoli and Petkovic before Kremlin Cup. Her 'worst' countable result is 60 points, while Petkovic and Bartoli have 120. It's really important. One more match won in Beijing and Marion will have only 65 points more than Aga! It's gonna be such an exciting fight for the last two places in Istanbul! rucolo Oct 6th, 2011, 08:13 PM Weak serve, but nice win in straight sets. Aga into Beijing QF! Ivanovic next. Can get as high as 8th with a win. :cheer: back to back Tier I finals :cheer: please get a new punchbag tomorrow :p Landon92 Oct 8th, 2011, 10:48 AM I think there are two scenarios which can give Radwanska 8th spot in YEC: 1. Agnieszka's winning the title in Beijing, Petkovic doesn't win titles in Linz and Luxembourg, Bartoli doesn't win in Osaka and Moscow, and then Radwanska may even not care about playing in Moscow, and she is in the YEC. 2. Petkovic's winning the title in Beijing, but in Linz and Luxembourg, she is not in the finals, but Agnieszka plays final in Moscow (+ not against Bartoli, she is not the champion of Osaka) - Radwanska is IN. So, it will be a lot easier, if tomorrow Agnieszka will beat Andrea, and Bartoli lost to Czink in Osaka, and the I think it will be clear for Radwanska. To be honest, tomorrow's match will decide, but we can be sure that Agnieszka will go for the YEC for the third time in last four years. That's amazing. They both played one of the best matches this year on tour; unfortunately, someone had to lose. And Andreas was forced to withdraw from Linz because of tiredness. It wasn't easy decision - now she has no chance to qualify for Istanbul. Tatcher Oct 9th, 2011, 08:34 PM Aga :hearts: :hearts: I am so happy for you. Thanks for your fantastic game Jerem Oct 10th, 2011, 09:58 AM What a fortnight... Congrats Aga, you deserve it so much ;) Now she has big chances to be in Istanbul, she reached a career prize money of $6,715,085... She's back to the top 10 at her best ranking (8th), and she has also reached a new career-high in doubles as she's ranked #16 this week! Jerem Oct 10th, 2011, 02:00 PM Does she have the possibility to play in the YEC if she does well? Mathemathical yes, practical basically no. She did so :worship: rucolo Oct 10th, 2011, 02:43 PM Career title #7 for Aga! :hearts::):yeah: "I'm very, very happy Andrea and I could play such an amazing match. Both of us played unbelievable," Radwanska said. "The first set was very tight, game by game. Then she killed me in the second set - I had chances, I was up 30-0 a few times, but it went by so quickly. It was hard to come back but I did, and in the end it was just a couple of points. I think it was the best final I've played. "Me and Agnieszka always have long matches. Even when it's two sets we always play very long rallies and always play good matches," Petkovic said. "In two or three days, when the disappointment settles a little bit, I'll be able to look back at this as a really great match and great entertainment for the people. yeah, it was a high-quality match :worship: TeamUla Oct 15th, 2011, 09:50 AM Aga's Moscow quarter (she needs to beat Safarova most probably to get that Istanbul spot :hysteric:) Vinci Roberta vs. Dushevina Vera Petrova Nadya vs. Rodiva Evgeniya Safarova Lucie vs. (Q) Radwanska Agnieska vs. Bye Sombrerero loco Oct 15th, 2011, 09:58 AM safarova wont be easy yeah...go aga! saul1333 Oct 15th, 2011, 09:59 AM Possibly a tough match..go Aga :) Specter Oct 15th, 2011, 10:06 AM Screw the h2h.
