5-5 in the first set, Misa just produced a love game.

Serve is going well:

1st Serve in: 73%
1st Serve won: 89%
2nd Serve won: 57%

*6-5 Misa breaks!

She takes the first set 7-5 :yeah:

MarkNL

7-5 2-2 Misa.

Coin won't give up easily. She is very confident on her serve, 88% on first serve won and 63& on 2nd serve.
She hits in only 51% first serves but with percentages like that it doesn't really matter.

7-5 3-3. Misa is winning 90%(!) on her first serve :yeah:

MarkNL
Sep 14th, 2011, 06:10 PM
Some big serving going on, Coin has served 10 aces and 0 double faults. She just hit one on a second serve.

Misa and Julie both are winning 90%-91% on their first serves.

7-5 4-4.

Total points won:

Misa Krajicek: 53
Julie Coin: 52

So it's really close and a tough match.

She had a break point at 4-4 but Coin brushed it aside. Serving to stay in the set.

MarkNL
Sep 14th, 2011, 06:22 PM
Coin takes the 2nd set 6-4

It's going in very similar fashion for Coin as in her match against Tatishvili. She lost the first 7-5 here and also against Tatishvili. She also won the second here and also against Tatishvili.

QF will be against the nr 4 seed Rebecca Marino who def Wozniak in 3 sets.

Misa also won her R1 doubles match with Lucie against Oudin Lucic 7-5 5-7 10-7 :)
On Thursday they will play against Watson & Woerle for a place in the SF :cheer:

EDIT: They lost their doubles match against Watson & Woerle 6-3 7-6.

BTW: with this SF, according to TBE Misa will be ranked nr. 117 on Monday :D

Before the USO she was ranked 183.

Last year after Quebec she only reached a 2nd round at 75k Barnstaple (14 points) and a 2nd round at 100k Torhout (20 points).

Misa! :woohoo:

That is a massive and great win over Marino :yeah:

I feel like she can reach the final. She defeated Zahlavova-Strycova in Memphis this year 6-1 6-3. :)

She won 22 of 23 points on first serve against Marino, 95% that is! :D

She lost to Barbora Zahlavova-Strycova 6-4 6-3

Her serve wasn't going well at all, 6 double faults and low winning percentages. I heard from other people she played quite bad.
So perhaps a bit unneccesary, but still a great week for Misa! :D

Yes, if her hip isn't giving her any additional problems which would cause her to withdraw, she will play ITF 75K Shrewsbury. (According to her fantumblr)

Yeah, just noticed it. I think it's a wise decision.
She played so many matches the past weeks and she had some trouble with her hip in the SF of Quebec so a week of rest is deserved :)
