That was in 2009 not 2010, matthew01. She is already out of top 200. Could be out of top 250 soon.

And if Vania loses in the first round of the US Open, she'll move down to No. 125. Meanwhile, they'll both still be ranked in the top 15 for doubles even if they lose in the first round of the US Open. I guess they're both gonna have to decide if they want to forgo a spectacular doubles career, at least for the rest of the year, and go back down to ITF's for singles.

Yari is a good player. She's a talent. But its true that doubles can screw up your singles unless you keep singles a priority.

:o awful loss for Shvedova. Her results have been so bad after coming back from that injury :sad: Hopefully she'll get out of her slump soon...
