I know Venus def. JJ at the USO in 07 was good quality. I don't have such extensive knowledge or memory to know many more...

You mean there are quality matches outside of the AO, FO, and Wimbledon?

Third-set tiebreaks are usually fairly ugly. Both players probably had 2-3 chances to close out the match and failed, and were very tired heading into the breaker. But I'm sure Serena and Venus have had their fair share of wins in this situation. Can't think of any in particular, though.

All things considered, I'm going to have to say Nadal-Verdasco Cincinnati 2011. Exhausted after three and a half hours of grueling tennis, both players fought tooth and nail to ensure that the other player didn't lose. Only one could prevail, however.

Venus and Serena's 3rd set tiebreak records are actually quite poor. That said, their YEC match in 2009 was preetty good, ending with a 3rd set tiebreak.
