Since none of us saw Woz's last match (or McHale's for that matter), we'd all be going off of personal feelings/wishes, and psycho-analysis it seems?

I'm sure that won't stop anyone on TF/GM from having very strong opinions though, nonetheless. Lol.

Christina, she can do it twice and send a strong message

Honestly I think McHale. Wozniacka traditionally keeps losing to a player once they've beaten her once... see her two losses in a row to Goerges and 3 in a row to Martinez Sanchez. Probably because so much of Wozniacka's success depends on her mental advantage (therefore making her opponents miss shots at crucial moments), truly believing you can beat Wozniacka is already half the battle of actually beating her.

Almost impossible to tell without having seen them play.

However, Caro looked strong on the scoreboard in set 2 and with a bit of confidence she can beat her.

I say Caro in 3.

Caro beat Hercog. On hard courts. Enough said. Rodionova can do that. (sorry Polo )

Go Xtina.

Xtina did back up her win vs Kuznetsova, so hopefully she'll back up her win vs Caroline!

Woz in straights, it would be shocking if she lost to Xtina twice in a row.

From following Livescore, it seems that McFail is in peak form. Woz's confidence is still rattled.

McFail in 3.

Xtina has been playing well and she seem to match up well against Caro.

She took the initiative in lot of the rallies and was yanking Caro from corner to corner.

Whether she will be able to produce the same kind of tennis here, I don't know.
But it is good she had success against Caro so she can rely on that by saying to herself she can do ti

Go Christina!! I'm holding a prayer-circle, but as an atheist I'm not sure how successful it will be. :oh:

I didnt see Caro's match, this is the kind of match she needs, to see if she improved from last week.
I figure she wins this, probably win this title for the 4th time, or make a good run, and go into NY feeling ready.

Karolina just cannot lose two times in a row in two consecutive weeks to a newcomer, she just can't :o
I ,actually, will try to watch this if it is not a night match.

Christina in two, or three. If I take slack for it, I take slack for it, but I don't believe Caro is winning this one.

She lost to Goerges twice in 2 consecutive tournaments. Why not here to McHale? :oh:

Be surprised if McHale win more than 7 games at Wozniacki's comfort spot. Wozniacki never played well in Cincinnati despite that location being her first ever WTA event at 15 yrs old.

We'll see.
The pressure is all on Caro to prove that she was caught on a bad day.

As for McHale, there is no pressure. And IF she plays like she did in Cinci, she has a chance to do it again.

After having just beaten her, losing in a 3-setter to the world #1 isn't bad either.

I hope Caro and I think it's Caro, she need some changes though, but won't be as rusty as last week I guess, at least not so many errors please...

I can't believe are only few hours from the match and McHale has kept the polls number very close, even leading by a slight margin.
I understand it might be a bit skewed because this is the USO, but still...

EDIT: match is Thursday, so there is still time to vote.

THIS. Although, if I had to choose between New Haven and the Open, I'd much rather the Woz won this MM and lost early in NYC than vice versa.

Why is that funny? They treat Caroline the same way and she has a bigger wig collection.
