This is so great. I am really really happy for her.
Just amazing :sobbing:
I hope this is not just a win, but the beginning of her journey back.

Magda :sobbing: Back from the Wimbly knee injury at least. Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Well done, Aravane. Very well done! Good luck against Sori later today... I suppose I will be happy with either winning.

Well, whats going on on the first set??
Aug 24th, 2011, 03:29 PM
Aravane probably shouldn't have lost it, tbh. She had an unfortunate break at 2-3, fell behind 2-5, stormed back to 4-5, fell behind 0-40 on her serve again to give Rybarikova three set points, reeled off 4 points in a row for a gp to tie it at 5-all, then saved three more set points before finally dropping serve and the set. I guess that p*ssed her off, because she never looked back after that.
If it weren't for Rybarikova's 10 aces, it wouldn't have been that close.

Finally, Aravane!!! Hope she's back for good! I'm missing her pissed off attitude. So cute.
