Can we compile a list of players that used to be dangerous or even elite and are now just kind of pathetic??
I'm talking about those players who would be impressive victories for your fave and are now just expected to lose all the time.
And if they get a few nice wins every few months, that doesn't count... even the journeywomen get lucky a few times.

BYES
Kuznetsova
Petrova
Peer
Cirstea
Razzano
Rezai
Cornet
Chakvetadze

On the border
Ivanovic
Jankovic

Closing in on BYE status
Gajdosova (Jarka :p)

there's hope for them though... let them play Li Na and beat her...their career will be revived... see Lisicki and Stosur

Goerges when she's not on clay

Because she is very impressive when playing on clay...
Madridīs and Stuttgartīs clay had hardly something in common with clay except that it was orange...I somehow canīt remember doing her well on others clay tournaments except Bad Gastein 2010...the fact she was playing 3 sets against Sanchez and lost to Han says all...not to mention others loses on her "best surface".

Razzano used to be quite the dark horse.

Was Cirstea ever an impressive win for a player?

Petrova is having a decent summer (despite her Pilot Pen fail).

No Rezai on the list? She used to be scary.

Cornet, once upon a time, was nearing the top 10.

Chakvetadze was a top 5 player.

Can Shahar be on the boarder? :p I mean she's had a series of bad losses but she was still winning matches and the worst part of the season was Brussels-FO-Eastbourne-Wimby with 4 straight R1 losses but she rebounded by reacheing the finals of Washington DC, had a R3 in Cinci and won her opening round in Dallas today.

I thought Ivanovic has crossed into the BYE list already. Petrova is on the border.

Princess Anna is not a BYE. She was so unlucky in 2011 so far unlike most players in that list. She can't catch a break. If she was fully healthy this year, she would be in the top 30 by now at least.

I'm surprised that YOU would start such a thread, Aces. You usually show more respect for the players than this.

Ana Ivanovic & Svetlana Kuznetsova: I wouldn't exactly call them byes but, they've without a doubt gone walkabout though.
