Is there a large break between the US Open night session and day session for the first round? Answer ASAP. thanks.

Since no one is answering, I'll take a shot (if you still have time to make a decision).

The answer is no. But it really depends on how long the day shift last. Many times, the night crowd is waiting (and watching the big TV) for the night matches to end.

I assume you mean on Arthur Ashe? most likely then. I believe they only schedule 3 matches on Arthur Ashe for the day session (occasionally four). Day session officially ends at 6, but earleir in arthur ashe if matches end sooner, night session starts at 7. Given that first round matches at Ashe are usually blowouts, the day at ashe should definitely be over by 5, if not earlier. Also depends how many mens macthes vs women's matches (best of 5 vs best of 3)
