3 threads for Shuai

She made it onto the big stage. Once the haterz come I'll know the top 10 is imminent

How many bps did she need though :sobbing:

0. but she's only played two matches and it's not like she was ever going to be Shushu

Should've been easier, but she got the job done.

I'd love Shuai to upset top players again, make it far in tournaments... and win one.

Peng was up 4-2, 40-0 in the 2nd set and Dulko won four games in a row....Why was this match so long? It seemed like the start of the 3rd set took forever and then again at 5-3 30-15. Was Dulko injured? Was Peng injured? I thought Peng might have taken a MTO after her withdrawal from Toronto for the hip injury....I also thought Peng's hip injury might have been acting up at the end of the second set because it seemed weird that she lost 4 games in a row. Was anyone there that saw what all the long stops to this match were about?

Great fight from Peng though. Now onto Round 2 for a re-match with Errani. Hopefully, Peng gets the day off tomorrow because I don't know what her chances are against Errani considering a) a 2 hour and 40 minute match today, b) a lingering hip injury since Carlsbad and c) a 2 hour and 20 minute match with Errani a few weeks ago in Carlsbad. Might be her undoing here, hopefully not. Too bad she couldn't have closed this one out in 2 sets though. Well, win 46 is under her belt either way, hahahaha
