bah, I am so sick of that rollercoaster tennis, one word class set probably mixed with some pathetic errors again and of course wastes her chances in 3rd set, serving a DF at GP at *3-3, typical Julia, she was mentally so strong in Stuttgart and Madrid but these days she is only able to play one good set and rest she just sucks :o

Step up your game Jules and stop those mental walkabouts for once

Good job, Julia and congratulations to Jie. She is slowly regaining her old form, despite what most think/say. Jie would've beat Julia in straight sets had they met at the beginning of the US HC season, so nothing to hang her head about here. She is making improvements.

I only mean that, if Julia was the player she was at the beginning of HC season, Jie would have beat her easily today. Obviously though, she has improved, or she would have got her butt handed to her quite easily.

i know that. what really pisses me off is how jie sucks for 2 years and randomly plays good all of a sudden and beat jules. julia needed this win more. it's still great to see jie playing well and winning.

You obviously have no idea how bad her wrist injury was.

Didn't someone post the Chinese news article with the xrays in it when it happened? It was awful.

Looked like every player playing out there is a "clown" in your eyes. Why don't you ( or your sis, if you are a male) go out there to save the tour and beat Serena?

well are you sure winning against an in-formed Jie is that easy?
at least Jie managed to put up a great fight against Serena and won a set unlike the other so-called world class top players got their ass kick in straight sets by Serena.

no-serve? I agree.
but is Jie only a counterpuncher? I don't think so.
watch that match against Serena again please....or you can watch the HL of Jie beating Masha last year:wavey:
