I wish Sabine didnt feel like she has to hit hard on every shot. She would be such a better player if she had some gears instead of just slamming her foot on the gas on every ground stroke.

Still Iīd rather have what Lisicki has to work with. Been a fan of underpowered players like JJ, Zvonareva or Azarenka for too long. The better base is to have all the natural strokes, the power, the serve, the height (like Kvitova or Na Li)and THEN you learn to play tennis.

Purple_Rain

Lisicki 4-5*. I think it was good for her to be tested that game -- she'll have even more confidence to break Peer now that she's held under pressure.

3rd chance in a row to serve it out, or Peer wants to join McHale & that group

Patrick345

If Lisicki can ever maximize her potential she is a future #1. Wrong-footing, dropshots, proper volleys, flat and topspin shots, serve. She is not the greatest mover, but everything else is there. She just needs to utilize it.

Lucky shot from Peer for 30-15.

The same can be said about a bunch of players...

Nah it canīt. Because 80% of the Tour donīt have the physical parameters, serve and required technique. Kvitova has it. Thatīs about it from the younger generation. Maybe Pavlyuchenkova has a chance to get there, but Wozniacki can never change her forehand technique, Radwanska canīt change her built and power.
