# 1 seed:
Caroline Wozniacki is through, will enter US Open 2011 as # 1 again.

# 2 seed:
Kim Clijsters [according to her HP (http://sport.be.msn.com/kimclijsters/eng/nieuws/?Article_ID=528992), she started training last week and will play both P5 tournaments (Toronto & Cincinnati) as US Open warm up tournaments], Vera Zvonereva, Victoria Azarenka, Na Li, Petra Kvitová & Maria Sharapova compete.

# 3 & 4
Kim Clijsters , Vera Zvonereva, Victoria Azarenka, Na Li, Petra Kvitová, Maria Sharapova & Francesca Schiavone are contenders.

# 5 – 8
Four players out of those prevous named should make it. If any, Marion Bartoli is the only player who might advance.

# 9 – 12
Marion Bartoli, Andrea Petković & Samantha Stosur are save.

# 13 – 16
Field wide open.

# 17 – 24
Field wide open.

# 25 - 32
Field wide open, but players until Flavia Pennetta are save.

Either Petkovic or Stosur might be knocked out of the 9-12 group, the gap is not so big and we all know how consistent Stosur is.

# 1 seed:

# 2 seed:
Vera Zvonereva or Victoria Azarenka will compete.

# 3 & 4
Vera Zvonereva, Kim Clijsters, Victoria Azarenka, Na Li, Petra Kvitová & Maria Sharapova are contenders.

# 5 – 8
Francesca Schiavone & three players out of those prevous seven named should make it. Marion Bartoli is a theoretical contender.

# 9 – 12
Marion Bartoli, Andrea Petković & Samantha Stosur are save; Agnieszka Radwańska more likely.

# 13 – 16
Field wide open.

# 17 – 24
Field wide open. Serena Williams can make it too.

# 25 - 32
Field wide open, but players until Nadia Petrova are save. However, if Venus Williams either pulls out of Cincinnati or will lose in R1, she is outside Top 32.

Kanepi should have 1507 points in total, her 16th result is 0 from Bali.

Matteks-Sands and Kanepi won't play in Cincinnati, so the former won't be seeded at USO and the latter most likely won't be.

Yeah, sorry 125 will be replaced by 1, I didn't add that.

So Errani or Marino should go rather deep to be seeded:eek: but I guess Serena could get there if she continues to play like that.

Predictions after Draw:

# 1 seed:
Caroline Wozniacki is through, will enter US Open 2011 as # 1 again.

# 2 seed:
Vera Zvonereva is the clear frontrunner Victoria Azarenka the contender, but she needs at least a final.

# 3 & 4 seeds:
Kim Clijsters is save either Vera Zvonereva or Victoria Azarenka more likely. If Vika don't go deep, Na Li, Petra Kvitová & Maria Sharapova have a slim chance.

# 5 – 8 seeds:
Na Li, Petra Kvitová & Maria Sharapova are through, Francesca Schiavone is way ahead of Marion Bartoli, who needs the championship and a helping hand of Fran.

# 9 – 12 seeds:
Marion Bartoli, Samantha Stosur, Andrea Petković are through, Jelena Janković needs a final to overtake Agnieszka Radwańska.

# 13 – 16 seeds:
Jelena Janković & Shuai Peng are save. Dominika Cibulková is a shoo-in. The last top tier seed spot should go either to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanović or Serena Williams (she needs to win the tournament).

# 17 – 24 seeds:
Three out of these four player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanović or Serena Williams and Roberta Vinci, Julia Goerges, Yanina Wickmayer, Sabine Lisicki & Daniela Hantuchová.

# 25 - 32 seeds:
Shahar Pe'er, Flavia Pennetta, Maria Kirilenko, Nadia Petrova & Lucie Šafářová are save; Jarmila Gajdošová & Anabel Medina Garrigues are shoo-in's. If María José Martínez Sánchez will sideline Ekaterina Makarova tomorrow, she will overtake Kaia Kanepi.

Independently as there might be withdrawals, alternates might secure a seeding spot.
