BACK TO BUSINESS...NOT YET
As the newly-crowned World No.6 men's tennis player, Novak Djokovic is known for his ball skills.
But the Serbian star showed he's just as nifty with a football as he played in the Mediterranean yesterday.
Following his stunning season, the 24-year-old treated his girlfriend Jelena Ristic to a sunshine break on the French Riviera.
Looking tanned and relaxed, the devout Orthodox Christian played with his blonde partner and their dog in the sea.
He recently hinted the couple are hoping to wed after noting improvements to married tennis players.
He said: '“It might even be good for my game. I have a feeling Roger Federer was much more relaxed after he got married and became a father. Maybe I’ll find the same experience.'"
His break comes after he lost to Monte Carlo champion less than a week ago. He is now expected to play tonight against Gilles Muller of Luxembourg.
Earlier this month,he was treated to a royal reception when he was greeted by 100,000 Serbians in Belgrade.
'This is absolutely unbelievable and I owe all of you eternal gratitude for this reception,' an elated Djokovic said.
'The time has come to bare all my emotions to you and all I can say is that you are the best in the world because only Serbian fans can throw a party like this. You have made the happiest day of my life even better and I dedicate all my wins to you
'We have a soul that is second to none and with the team event coming up, I can promise you we will do everything in our power to win it all again.'

NOVAK DJOKOVIC BREEZES PAST GILLES MULLER
Clay may not be Djokovic's best surface, but that was for sure one good showing he came up with on tuesday night as he defeated Gilles Muller of Luzembourg by a score of 63 64. The match started off roughly for Djokovic who fell behind 0-3 before rounding up 6 straight games to win the first set in stellar fashion. The second set looked a little more like men's tennis as both guys didn't face any break point until they both reached 4-all. Gilles Muller then surrendered, giving away his service game to love. Novak then breezed through his service game and showed great emotion when he converted his second match point with a down the line backhand winner.
Novak Djokovic will now face Marin Cilic in the quarterfinals. Cilic defeated world number 4 Lleyton Hewitt in two sets on tuesday.
The match will be aired on the Tennis Channel around 16:00 PM (EST).

New number one winning in Barcelona!
It looks top of rankings gave Finn Jarkko Nieminen even more confidence as he had before. Finish plyer is allready in semifinal with two straight sets victories and first round bye. First of 2 victories was over Spanish player David Ferrer, 6-4, 7-6(6). »That was hard match. He played excelent and had crowd behind him which was really loud. It was great to play with such an athmopshere. I would wish all these support would be for me but it looks I won't ever have luck to play home tournament.« Jarkko said after his second round match. In quarterfinal Jarkko defeated Slovene Blaž Kavčič 6-3, 6-4. »I have feeling I'm playing against Blaž every week (laugh). He is good friend of mine, we understand really well. It's never easy to play against friend but when you are on court you just want to win.« told Jarkko.
In semifinal Jarkko will play against same opponent as previous week in Monte Carlo SF. He will face Serbian Novak Djoković, number 6 seed which is as well playing some superb tennis lately. Last week Jarkko won 3 sets battle against Serbian 4-6, 7-6(7), 7-5, also saving 2 MPs. »Novak is one of players against which I have to play more than 100% to win. His game style is very unfavourable for me. Esepcially his backhand is killing one. I will do everything to make another final and maybe even win my 7th title of this season.« left-handed number 1 previewed his semifinal clash.

NOVAK KEEPS HIS COMPOSURE IN TOUGH THRILLER
Novak Djokovic from Serbia almost surrendered facing new up and coming Marin Cilic of Croatia, but he fought past the Croatian in 3 hours and 34 minutes under the burning Spain sun. "This was definitely one of the toughest match I've played lately. I'm so happy I got through this. It means a lot for my confidence. I want to take the confidence into the next round to beat Jarko who's been doing amazing in the past couple of months."
When asked about how it feels to be called a veteran, Novak came up with this: "I'm not sure I feel a veteran yet, I have yet to win a big event and I still feel young. I would say that my greatest accomplishment would be staying in the top 10 for so long and having consistent results. I also enjoy improving and I think I might be right up there really soon!"
Novak Djokovic will play Jarko Nieminen from Finland on saturday.
