I feel just the same. Its always an anti climax when its over and it just feels so flat now. I guess we've had tennis on our tv screens all day every day over the last 2 weeks and now its all over for another year. I don't follow tennis like I used to in my era (Martina, Chris, Sue Barker etc.) but I still miss it when its over. I start having that feeling the 2nd week of Wimbledon as there's not as much tennis on and the Brits are all out. But I do agree with you poster.

I can totally understand the sadness. It is sort of similar to my annual pilgrimage to Auckland to watch tennis in the first two weeks of January (first ladies and then men). Then when I am coming back, I feel as it something is missing from my life.

However, I am happy that Wimbledon is over because it had totally disrupted my sleeping schedule, the matches started at 12:00 a.m. NZ time and I have sooooooooooooo much sleep deficit.

Yeah, I'm sad too. But Maria's a great tennis player and she'll win the Grand Slam in the future.
