Justine Du Partenaire def. Maria Broseghini 6-4, 6-1
 Incredible win for the Canadian junior player.

Nicole Haas def. Ndjamena Zinaida Naaumy 6-1, 6-2
Another shocker as the top half lightens. Many favorites out early already.

Carol Chan def. [8]Kandy Marshmellow 6-2, 6-1
Impressive from the doubles world number one.

[6]Zaelly Ircha def. [WC]Christina Hargrove 7-6(5), 6-2
Christina gave Zaelly a tough first set but the Aussie pulled through in two.

Valeria Preobrazhenskaya def. Luka Paeni 6-0, 4-6, 7-5
Russia def. Solomon Islands in three.

Julie Saville def. Hella Marie Steinsvik 6-7(15), 6-1, 6-2
Three sets needed for Julie who wasted ten set points in the first set...

Good win for Smith who takes out the fourth seed from France.

Shocker of the day as the local wild card takes out the third seeded Italian.

Jawaskraya Loordinia def. Astrid Haas 6-4, 6-4
Solid start from the Malaysian.

Julie Lee def. [Alt]Fernanda De Melo 7-6(5), 6-7(3), 8-6
Incredibly close match between two unseeded juniors. Julie survives the battle against the Alternate from Brazil.

[7]Mélina Ljungljung def. Kerstin Van Evangelizaan 7-6(10), 6-1
Mélina had to dig deep in the first set but rolled in the second.

[5]Khunyah Nomyan def. Mpule Kwaleglobe 7-5, 4-6, 8-6
Match of the day as the fifth seed takes out Nyoteupesi starlet Kwaleglobe in three sets.

Julie Chazal def. Sonja Müller 7-6(4), 0-6, 10-8
Julie had to dig deep to overcome the German challenge but she succeeded.

[Alt]Natalie Stybert def. [Alt]Maria Shapovalova 4-6, 7-6(2), 7-5
Stybert wins the battle of Alternates against the Russian number one.

Miranda Frost def. [2]Klentjie Jantjes 6-4, 6-4
This is only Miranda's second junior tournament (after Roland Garros) and she keeps impressing. She fell to Saikikimbondwe in three tough sets in France but managed to take out world number two Jantjes in straight sets here. Klentjie's aim for number one is more than over.

Hey people

I have a problem
One minute after I posted the results, I received a PM from Maria Broseghini with her points.
These points change everything, including finalists, winners, etc.
Shall I accept them or not... I am not sure. They were after the deadline for sure...
Help!

Miranda keeps rolling also in doubles.

Du Partenaire/Van Evangelizaan def. Alipoe-Tchotchodji/Chazal 6-3, 6-7(5), [10-7]
The international majesties had to dig deep in order to win but they overcame the team from France and Togo.

De Melo/Saikikimbondwe def. [2]Ircha/Saville 7-5, 5-7, [17-15]
Xhaka and Julie seem to face up everywhere they can. After the decisive slice volley from De Melo, Zaelly took her racket and threw it towards the Brazilian, hitting her in the face. We hope, she can be fit for tomorrow's match again as she was knocked out completely by the Australian.
