Her only two "losses" since Doha were both retirements, otherwise she is 18-0 since the loss to Hantuchova(of all people )....yikes that is a bit scary. Is she still a pretender or is this the start of the real deal?

She won 2 Miamis, so she must be pretty good.

Vika's been playing really great. I watched her matches vs Kim and Vera in Miami and now in Madrid vs Parra Santonja and Safarova and I was really impressed.

When it comes to Azarenka, though, at a slam, it is best to have low expectations. She could either win the damn thing or faint in a match and have to withdraw.

Vika never entered a big tournament as biggest contender, favorite to win the title, the player to beat, was only hunter not hunted, etc...

As anyone knows, performance in recent, previous tourneys is nowhere near an accurate reflection of the following GS performance

She's definitely a contender to go far in RG, but there's a bunch of other top 10-ers (and others) who have an equal if not better chance.

Madrid lol but still that is quite a run for a player who up to now has never even peaked higher than 5 in the world!

Contradict yourself much?

You are the real deal or not as good as Wozniacki. Both together is not possible.

Don't be silly, Woshniacki is clearly the best player in the world

If you are the real deal you are better than Wozniacki. If you are not better than Wozniacki you are not the real deal. Simple as that.

No pusher can be better than you, if you are a truly special player.

Andy Murray can play till Kate Middleton“s babies have babies, he“s never going to be better than Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, or DelPotro, because he is british, I mean a pusher. :p

She's the real deal when she's on. Of course, the same can be said about a number of top players. So Vika's fans will hope she stays on for a long time.

This. It will be interesting to see how Azarenka handles the pressure of being one of the real favourites in RG. The writing is on the wall, she's no longer just a long shot for that title.
