Lucie played well. 20/14 W/UE

Gajdosova didn't care, just gave up when things weren't going her way. 16/35 W/UE

If Lucie plays as well as she can vs. Vika it's going to be a great match.

Wow, didn't expect that. Jarka couldn't have looked less interested. Good job to Lucie for defending most of her points here, but I can't see her beating Azarenka.

It was easier that I thought.
Good luck against Azarenka.

After the slow start at the beginning of the first set, very good stuff from Lucie. Gajdosova played pretty badly, though. 20 winners and 14 UEs for Lucie.

Good luck against Azarenka, Lucie, you will definitely need it. :)

I hate it when players act like Jarmila did today :( Just no passion or anything, she really didn't fight when things didn't go her way. Disappointed with her perfomance, although it has been a good week with wins over Kirilenko and Radwanska. At least she had her serve otherwise the result would definitely be more one-sided.

Listless performance from Jarmila but she hasn't had the best time off-court recently.

Good control from Lucie :lick:

Good point. Sometimes that mental/emotional stuff can seep in and KO someone.

At the end, she can even defend her semifinal. :o

Gajdosova still an awful, awful competitor. Hurts her in basically every important match she finds herself in.

Well done Lucie for getting this done in straights. :yeah: The little I saw of the match, Jarmila didn't seem to compete at all and gave up after being broke in the 1st set for 4-3.

Perhaps that's because she isn't having sex anymore

AFter the first two games of the match it was horrible from Jarka, UE machine. Her attitude really hurts her too, when she gets down she stays down most of the time and her game becomes a mess.

Well done Lucie.

It's great that Lucie is winning matches. It'll be great for her to carry this form over to her next match and to Roland Garros.
