I thought Beth played extremely good. She served well, returned well, and she was staying in the rallyes with Fran, but i dont think that Fran was doing much to push and stretch Beth wide, stayed well within her own comfort zone. I was surprised too that Fran couldn't defend Beth's shots better, but today she had oen of those purple patches I guess.

I am very happy for Beth, I saw her defeated by Niculescu in Estoril so I am glad she could play better in a bigger, more important tournament. I would love to see her beat Li in the QF.

Well, I was talking about this year but it's true that she is also shit lol but it's not bad compared to others top players who are ranked higher.
Anyway we will have new players in top 10 after FO with very interesting players in it.
