What I find funny is that she has the same clay schedule as Masha (barring Fed Cup). One has won a GS on it the other has admitted to being a 'cow on ice' on the red stuff.

I agree completely. I'm not suggesting that the abdominal injury played a part in today's match, I don't think that it did, but I do think that until she takes a significant amount of time to let it fully heal (at least a month) that it will keep flaring up. Since Hopman Cup it seems like every few weeks she is out with the same injury. I can understand that she wanted to keep the momentum going that she had built up at the end of 2010 and it would be disappointing for her to miss the clay season but she needs to get herself healthy above anything else.

Well I think from evidence she's done... I've never been her thorough fan but I've always thought that as her champ she deserved respect... But she's unabled to do anything with her game and herself... she's reached in a state to of lethargy where she can't even find help for herself thinking she can resolve the weak aspects of her game with a hitting partner.
