HURRY BACK GIRLS!!

**Williams Sisters Stay Mum on Return - Associated Press

WASHINGTON -- Serena and Venus Williams aren't ready to tell the world when they will return to the WTA Tour.

The sisters, who own a combined 20 Grand Slam singles titles, declined to say Thursday when they will compete next. Both have been sidelined for months. The next major tournament, the French Open, begins May 22.

Venus says they "definitely want to be there." She says they are taking things "week by week, evaluating, and the good part is we both get better every week."

Venus hasn't played since January because of a hip injury. Serena has been out since July with a series of physical problems.

They were on adjacent courts Thursday, offering coaching tips and playing points against students at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center to help celebrate the center's 10th anniversary.

Well - although they aren't saying - I'm sure they are targetting Wimbledon as their comeback tournament.

It'll only be a fairytail for one of them in the end.

IF Serena does in fact comeback early (in time for RG), can she request a WC into Brussels?

Are they both supposed to return to the Tour at the same time ? I mean you can't compare Venus' injury (probably already healed a while ago) to Serena's pulmonary emobolism. It's ludicrous.

Yeah because this thread is all about comparing Venus and Serena's injuries.

I'm not saying it's about comparing their injuries. I quote :
"Venus says they "definitely want to be there." She says they are taking things "week by week, evaluating, and the good part is we both get better every week."
Apparently Venus won't return until Serena returns.

Venus Williams has pulled out the upcoming WTA Premier Mandatory tournaments in Madrid and Rome. The seven-times Grand Slam champion hasnít played since injuring her abdominal muscle at the Australian Open, where she was forced to retire against Andrea Petkovic in the third round.

Before that, the 30-year-old had only played one tournament since 2010 Wimbledon, the 2010 US Open, due to knee problems. Venus has vowed not to return until she is completely healthy which she admittedly wasnít in Australia when she injured herself. Venus said in a statement that she is back training again and hopes to play in a pre-Roland Garros tournament in Brussels.

So, Venus hopes to return in two weeks if she is fully healthy.

In another article I read that Serena was doing a lot more in the little exp thing than Venus was. Serena was lunging for volleys and running back and forth according to the article. If I find it, I'll post it
