Given her form this year I expect quite a big drop in her rank after Madrid. Your take?

Rezai got hot for one week, talking about how she was playing like a top 5 player. Since then, she's been close to a borderline 70-90 ranked player. Bombing out early in big events left and right. When I look at her game, it's not really different than Wickmayer's. Yet they're going in different directions rank-wise.

I would guess not many since the points taken off the week of Madrid are those of Rome 2010.

Who cares. She will comeback stronger.

with her tennis she can win a slam or an other big tournament in her carreer, it's better than thousand 1/4 finals

I agree. She is able to win slam without any others successes.

She hits hard, which a lot of people who post here, like as a style. But a lot of the bashers cant hold their form. Those are duifficult shots to continuously make.

She needs to sort her heaad out (well, who doesn't?!) and most importantly her personal, off-court life, which seems quite stressed lately, before she starts worrying about points and rankings.

She is very explosive and probably the biggest hitter on the tour.
Gets some great angles and is great to watch (unlike most ballbashers who just bash it down the line).
She's pretty much the only ballbasher I like watching.
Hopefully, she defends her points.

And people expected her to take over from Marion as French #1

I hope she will not fall down that much :)

She's going so low she'll have to travel to Australia by mining shaft instead of van.

Well, where will she be ranked now? Do her Madrid 2010 pts stay on until after Rome?

Without the 1000 points from Madrid, she'll drop back down to somewhere in the 40's.

So she will be unseed at the French Open...

Still, she would be one of the least players I would like to play against in an early round. She is in a heavy slump, but the next surprising run could come anytime... :o

The fall continues. Maybe she'll fall out of the top 100 the way things are going.
