Ana ability to drop her game to club player level just like that is simple amazing
Between 2-2 and 2-6 0-1 Ana won just 5 points in 5 games :tape:x100, but after that moment she regroup somehow and lose just one game till end of this match.

I guess crucial moment is 2-6 3-2 *0-40 when Ivanovic managed to hold game where Razzano has 5BP's. After that Ana won all games till end of this match, so when Razzano retire at *3-0 in decider it was already double break advantage for Ana with 6 games in the row winning strike.

I was reeeaally was scared when I came on the scoreboard to see Ana a set down but up 5-2... Well... I'm happy she did the job to make it to the 4th round to most probably face Kimmie... now it's only just bonus though I'd really like to see her go further.

Virginie j'espère que ce n'est pas trop grave.

Mar 27th, 2011, 06:32 PM
what did she do?

She was wasting time between Ana's serves and later got a time violation. Then there was also the very very long bathroom break (around 10 minutes) after the 2nd set. Something tells me it's not about a weak bowel. :help:

There's nothing weird about expressing happiness a favorite player won a fucking match, especially since nobody was being disrespectful to Virginie (who WAS using gamesmanship).

This place is fucking ridiculous, whatever.

Have to be happy to see Ana win this :) When I left the house earlier it was after 1st set, so I expected worst when I came back. Nice to see Ana stepped it up then.

Good luck in next round!

Not happy to see the first set score, but whatever, looks like she pulled it off in the second.
No interest in whether Razzano'z injury affected the result, or her 'gamesmanship', I'm just dreading the likely beatdown next round :o

ana played two good games in this match...from 0-1 to 2-1 in the second. for those two games she was great. before that, she couldn't find the court. after that, she played better, but far from her best and really just resorted to pushing when razzano just started going for broke because she couldn't move

Right, because at 3-0 double break up in the 3rd set, she was well on her way to getting dumped out of the tournament. You could do well to steal some of Bartoli's IQ.
