Well, I simply said that, when Eastbourne will come, Makarova will be far away from Top 50. And that, if you win 7 points on your opponent's serve, and only two games, you seriously don't deserve to be in at her position. :D

I was so close to putting some €€€ on Makarova to win this, as Gâteau was probably tired etc. I was lucky enough to decide checking their H2H before, and gave up when I saw the score of their only previous match. Gâteau is an x-treme matchup player - she either pwns or gets pwned, and that score alone suggested that Makarova wouldn't discomfit her in the least bit.

Lucky me I suppose.
