And that's exactly why I wanted Yanina to win, although I like Elena too. It was clear straightaway that Elena would throw this opportunity away. Great effort reaching the 3R, but I'm disappointed right now.

As for AMG, it's a nice win, NEVER expected her suddenly to catch fire here in Miami, seems to be a good sign for the upcoming clay-season.

On menstennisforums the members are moaning around because the surface is supposed to be VERY slow. This could be a factor for AMG's good results.

Miami is slow for sure, but I can't tell the difference from indian wells. Seems like a large percentage of tournaments on the tour have courts that slowed down a lot over the years. Ironically, the clay courts are playing faster which might be due to the increased fitness of today's tennis players.
