They won everything above Tier 2 for the last 8 months, but only played once since the 2009 USO final, in the 2010 YEC final wildemu Mar 25th, 2011, 06:23 PM If i were a caro fan, i'd tweet kim and tell her that some radiation reached the shores of miami. edificio Mar 25th, 2011, 06:23 PM Domination. I guess Kim's shoulder is feeling well, but it hardly got a workout. backhandsmash Mar 25th, 2011, 06:30 PM And in only 50 minutes. Vikapower Mar 25th, 2011, 06:30 PM The master is back !? :scared: 46% of 1rst. and 4 DFs... hard to tell about the shoulder from these but it seems allright... Shvedbarilescu Mar 25th, 2011, 06:32 PM It's amazing what a couple of days in a radiation-free zone can do for a sore shoulder. ;) nevetssllim Mar 25th, 2011, 06:35 PM It's amazing what a couple of days in a radiation-free zone can do for a sore shoulder. ;) TheBoiledEgg Mar 25th, 2011, 06:37 PM It's amazing what a couple of days in a radiation-free zone can do for a sore shoulder. ;) cellophane Mar 25th, 2011, 06:48 PM lolz at the radiation cracks... it's just Yakimova, guys. 1 and 1 against her doesn't mean Kim's shoulder is 100 percent Libertango Mar 25th, 2011, 06:48 PM Mere formality. You have to wonder what goes through the mind of someone like Yakimova before they face Kim... Why bother? C. W. Fields Mar 25th, 2011, 06:51 PM Kim's serve stats don't look too good. I wonder if her shoulder hampers her serve or if it was just a 'normal' wonky serve day? Tennis Ball Mar 25th, 2011, 06:58 PM And in only 50 minutes. minus 4 seconds :) :p It's amazing what a couple of days in a radiation-free zone can do for a sore shoulder. ;) Lol. Her shoulder though is bothering her since the AO ;). And perhaps she feels vulnerable to radiation since her father died of (skin) cancer, I can imagine. Japanese radiation has reached European shore already btw. :scared: In a very low dose probably, but still. I wonder how many matches she can play without significant hinderer () from her shoulder, I don't think this one match is any indication, like we've witnessed at Indian Wells. Shvedbarilescu Mar 25th, 2011, 07:00 PM lolz at the radiation cracks... it's just Yakimova, guys. 1 and 1 against her doesn't mean Kim's shoulder is 100 percent In fairness Yakimova came into this match red hot, with 8 wins in a row, and 7 of the 8 wins were against top 100 standard players. On top of that she had dropped only one set in those eight matches. So this is someone who was playing very good tennis. That Kim beat her 1 and 1 is, I would say, is quite impressive. Shvedbarilescu Mar 25th, 2011, 07:03 PM minus 4 seconds :) :p Lol. Her shoulder though is bothering her since the AO ;). Thank you for warning me. I will be sure not to leave my flat now until I get the all-clear that it is safe to go outside again. Tennis Ball Mar 25th, 2011, 07:31 PM Really? Thank you for warning me. TheBoiledEgg Mar 25th, 2011, 07:35 PM Dutch media says it has reached Holland. most of Dutch will think its spliff and get high on it then Shinjiro Mar 25th, 2011, 07:36 PM  The Dawntreader Mar 25th, 2011, 07:43 PM Saint Sin trying to win in a hurry to avoid the tyrannical wave of radiation that is hurtling towards Miami as we speak. There is a.vast difference in class between the players Yakimova beat and Kim LightWarrior Mar 25th, 2011, 07:56 PM YAKIMOVA...What kind of a name is that ? Japanese, Russian...whatever. Betten Mar 25th, 2011, 07:58 PM Yakimova played pretty bad - you can't expect to win a match against someone like Clijsters when you make so many unforced errors. doomsday Mar 25th, 2011, 08:08 PM GOOd win, reach the final and lose to Maria:p young_gunner913 Mar 25th, 2011, 08:09 PM Glad to see Kim's "injury" has healed. Curcubeu Mar 25th, 2011, 08:14 PM YAKIMOVA...What kind of a name is that ? Japanese, Russian...whatever. YakimOVA, typical (Belo)Russian name... Shvedbarilescu Mar 25th, 2011, 08:20 PM Those wins were in a challenger and in qualifying. There is a.vast difference in class between the players Yakimova beat and Kim Of course there is. But a quick look at the players Yakimova beat during that streak, Kudryavtseva, Bondarenko, Rybarikova, Kerber, Rus, Flipkens, and Rodionova and the manner in which she beat virtually all of them very easily indicates to me she was playing to a top 50, and perhaps even a top 40 standard. And when you beat a player playing top 50 standard tennis 1 and 1 you are doing a very good job. I think we can expect Kim to have a very good week in Miami. The shoulder does not appear like it is going to be a problem this week. Светльо Mar 25th, 2011, 09:33 PM Kimberly :cheer: Betty Mar 25th, 2011, 09:47 PM If i were a caro fan, i'd tweet kim and tell her that some radiation reached the shores of miami. But years later (2009) he died of (lung)cancer. Her mother almost died and had an livertransplantation. So everething did'nt go well is'nt it? Actually Ann Coulter thinks radiation is good for you ;) Belmont Lad Mar 25th, 2011, 11:43 PM Double breadsticks from Kim, nice to see after the IW withdrawal. :yeah: LightWarrior Mar 26th, 2011, 01:07 AM Double breadsticks from Kim, nice to see after the IW withdrawal. :yeah: It is indeed. God I'm so happy that Kim only lost 2 games. It means that she's very healthy right now after a scare at IW. And Jada gets to go to the beach every day, there's always a little breeze blowing from east to west. Fantastic news altogether compared to the nightmare at IW, I'm so happy. Lachy Mar 26th, 2011, 01:22 AM  sammy01 Mar 26th, 2011, 02:04 AM It's amazing what a couple of days in a radiation-free zone can do for a sore shoulder. ;) kim could beat yakimova serving underarm and with a 0-15 handicap and it would still be 1 and 1. yakimova does nothing better than kim even if kim is not serving well. we will find out how the shoulder is when she plays someone who can return. SELVEN Mar 26th, 2011, 02:08 AM Kim :yeah: cellophane Mar 26th, 2011, 02:16 AM Of course there is. Not possible to gauge much about her shoulder until she plays someone who could at least challenge her if she is off. Michael.
