An easy win after some bad losses. Interesting 3R match vs. Pavlyuchenkova / Szavay :)

Lepchenko isn't really a threat to anyone, so this is hardly a proper gauge for KvittyGOAT's current form, but I'll take it.

Yeah, and Petra was broken twice, although she had 67% of first serves in. On the other hand, she was nearly flawless on her return.

IIRC I never see her on TV. How's her game? Pusher?

Other than the 1st serve %, the stats do look sort of bad. But I won't be too picky after 3 consecutive losses.

Glad Petra won. I don't think the recent loss to Strycova was that terrible (even tho BZS annoys me), since they'd had a close match a couple weeks before. Miami suits Petra's game better than Indian Wells.

Good luck to Petra in the next round. I like Agnes and Pavly, but will be rooting for her.

I saw this nearly a couple of years ago:

She's a lefty with wonky groundstrokes. Very inconsistent from what I remember.

She is the epitome of the journeywoman, aged 25 now, her career best ranking is 74, she is at the bottom end of the top 100 in good years and between 100-150 in not so good years. She largely regained her top 100 place thanks to a 15 match winning streak on US ITFs last autumn, in which she won 2 $50ks and 1 $75k, she did manage a qf at Ponte Vedra last year but it is very rare to see her win more than one main draw match on the main tour. cf Alberta Brianti, Sandra Zahlavova, Renata Voracova.

She has quite a nothing game IMO. Not offensive, not particularly DEfensive. Quite ugly strokes too, from what I can remember.
