So I'm looking for some quality ambient music I can study to. Not anything too distracting obviously but with a nice vibe. Any suggestions?

You can find lots of music on Jamendo (http://www.jamendo.com/en/) :)

You should check out Antony Raijekov and his album 'Jazz U' - you might like it! (link) (http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/3777)

I'm listening to a guy called Wisp now. Lovely ambient electronica. You can download his free stuff here http://wisp.kaen.org/

I like studying and writing to The Field. The album I listen to most is From Here We Go Sublime
I bought it off iTunes though

I tried it. It's really jazzy not really my style but I may grow to like it. I downloaded it so you never know. Thanks :)

That's what I like about free music. You can preview the entire product, and if you don't like it oh well, but if you like it you can buy the music/make a donation, often directly to the artist. Power to the artist :)!

And also it makes you aware of artists you may have never heard of before

I've discovered Agnes Obel on my trip to Denmark last week. Really love it for homework. A bit 'depressing' but it just brings you in a very interesting area.

For me, studying with Pandora is best.
Just type in an artist that you work well to (Celine or Country for me) and it just goes
