Anyway Iryna Bremond sounds strange... And on her ITF Profil, her nationality is now french.Iryna married Gerald Brémond and not Eric Brémond.
But maybe Gerald and Eric are brother....Dunno

Hmm, I'm not sure Laura would approve of this.

The profile says she is married to Gerald, not Eric

Now she can get MDWC at RG :bounce:
Feb 27th, 2011, 11:39 AM
But actually she can be more competetive than most of others natural French WC´s:p

Bremond, Iryna :spit:
But at least she will have an easier life on the tour... hope for a FO MDWC :hearts:

Eric is quite attractive. I hope someone is with him.

Wow, its gonna be weird to see Bremond in draws again...
Feb 27th, 2011, 04:45 PM
Wow that seems weird. And I guess that a MDWC for Roland Garros is pretty safe now. Clever girl! :)

She can also get a EU passport now :yeah:

I always feel annoyed when girls change nationality just for €€€ purposes. She obviously has the right to do so, since she married a French man, but still, it feel like betraying your home country.. poor BLR!
Hope she's happy in France tho.

Yeah... but did Belarus even nominated her to FC team?
Always Kustova and Poutchek... Same is with Yakimova.
Feb 28th, 2011, 01:23 AM
OMG  I read an ITF article calling her Bremond and was like "WTF" good for her though :).
Lots of players leaving Russia... A-Rod, Galina, Yari.
EDIT: Oh, she Belarussian. Well still a surprising number of players (particularly eastern European) changing nationalities.

Iryna won a tournament yesterday in Dijon, France, under Kuryanovich name : http://www.fft.fr/FFT/pdf_n/cngt_pdf2011/aspttdijon_F11.pdf
