Over the last 2-3 years there haven't been that many withdrawals, so this is probably more or less what we'll get. Nobody I really really really like save for Dokic (and no Polonia :sad: ), but decent average quality.

It seems that, much like Den Bosch is the favourite grasscourt event of the grassophobes, the Estoril Open has become quite popular among claycourt clown-esses (including the top seed :tape: ).

Still, rankings and draws mean very little at MM events such as this one because there isn't any significant gap in the skill level of most of the MD, and there's near to a dozen players who could end up winning this. So I expect randomness.

There's a couple of currently slumping players for whom this may be an opportunity if they come here with getting their first title as an objective (Halep, Larsson).

There are 75 players in this list, Main draw is 24+Q+WC, Qualy draw is 14+WC...this would mean some players inside the top 100 would not enter qualies :spit:
This was obviously the original entry list before players had to choose between Estoril and Barcelona, some of the girls in this list were priority 2 in BCN but still in the list and the tournament counted them in :rolleyes:

The Estoril Open WTA Q draw has been 32 since 2006 at least (and it will be so this year again according to the prospective OOP - 16 WTA qualies matches to be held on the first Saturday), and Barcelona will undoubtedly attract a much stronger field (both MD and Q).

I just said she was on 2 lists. Never said I believed it. I know that the list had MD, q, and alt listed. Thus why I asked the question. No need to talk down to me.
