don't see Flavia winning this one, but i don't think Caro will ever be happy to meet Flavia even though she's going to be 5-0 H2H...all the matches they played were some of the best matches i remember from both as they always have to play their best to try to take it home.
tomorrow put the records on eurosport it's gonna be another great day for tennis

Embarassment? She took Caro into a three-sets match three times, so Flavia can do something :)
I think Wozniacki 62 36 62

lets use Wozniacki fans favourite phrase'

'Winning the match is what counts,We dont care the opponents made loads of errors or took her to 3 sets or almost beat her'

I think Flavia cares more than

I think every fanbase agrees that winning matches is what count. Tennis fans aren't like Dutch football fans who only accept pretty wins :p

I don't think Flavia will win tomorrow, but I didn't think she would win today either:shrug: And if she loses, I won't feel any worse about her season start anyway.

Flavs tomorrow MUST avoid long rallies...her new approach at the net, and an aggressive way of playing can be the key to beat Wallzniacki...certainly, her self-confident is very very high just now, and I suppose she has also a great wish of revenge against Caro...

so, if the ankle is ok, I think this may be the right time to demolish the blond wall

I hope she wins, but in her head, she must think that she need to beat her.or she might lose confidence again.

Wozniacki in two sets. She's going to win this tournament anyway.

Probably Wozniacki, but she'll have to expend a lot more energy than against Petrova.

This. And OP, wouldn't you think it would be more embarassing for World Number One Wozniacki to lose to a player outside the Top Ten of which she has such a lopsided head to head. If Pennetta loses, so what? All the pressure is on Wozniacki.

Caro is certainly the favorite but I'm not sure she'll beat Flavia the usual way. Both are good movers and very consistent players who don't have the power to blow their opponent off the court. Caro has won their previous matches on being a tiny bit sharper in long rallies and having better stamina when the match went to 3 sets.
Despite her win yesterday you could tell Caro WAS affected by her illness. She was half a step slower than usual and tired more quickly. That wasn't much of a problem against Nadia since there were only a few long points, but against Flavia there likely will be many. I don't know how well Caro has recovered from her illness yet. If she's close to her usual self today, no problem. But if she doesn't have her normal stamina she'll have to apply real pressure to Flavia and try to shorten the points. Can Caro do that without hitting too many errors, that's the question?

I don't think Flavia is going to going to put a win in that H2H in this match. Sigh. Caro in 3 sets.

It's unfortunate for Flavia but she'll be 0-5 to Caro Woz... she's one of these players with Jankovic who has very good defensive skills and a smart offensive game to go with it but contrary to her serbian sibling she hasn't got that big offensive weapon to dismantle the Dane.
