Italy probably field the same team (Sexa, Flavia, Errani, Vinci) again

Russia will add Zvonareva to the team ... probably take out Sharapova or Safina :spit:

France fights to stay in the World Group (which it always in history of Fed Cup) against Spain

Slovak Rebubliv v Serbia :hysteric: Serbia needs Ana and Jelena :sobbing:

Patty might retire during this Fed Cup.

I guess that would be good place to do since she can retire in Switzerland :worship:

but why not at least play Roland Garros

I think France got the easiest opponent but it's still gonna be difficult to win.

Slovakia vs Serbia again :hysteric:

Hopefully Dani finds that same form and now that we have Domi it should go well!

Slovak Rebubliv v Serbia :hysteric: Serbia needs Ana and Jelena :sobbing:

i'd be very surprised if jelena doesn't play, i just think that she'd be loyal to her team :)

EDIT: http://english.blic.rs/Sports/7376/Jelena-eager-to-play-in-Slovakia
im 100% sure she'll play

as for ana, i think she should play since its only 2 days of the year that she has to commit to.

a strong/probably team would be:

Jelena Jankovic
Ana Ivanovic
Bojana Jovanovski
Aleksandra Krunic

as for doubles: :tape::scratch::shrug:

Sam should win the 2 singles ties, and the doubles with groth (maybe). i'd like to see it not be played in Hobart:sobbing:

 Jovanovski/Jankovic again! Against Slovakia again

maybe serbia wont need doubles to win this time

and on second thoughts ana "maybe" more "forced-to-play" the Fed Cup after last years dispute...

something tells me that she won't say anything about fed cup for a few more weeks yet :P

I think Canada will struggle with this one. I see Hercog winning both singles and with Srebotnik in there for doubles...

We need a win from Marino vs Hercog and two wins against Zec-Peskiric. Not impossible, depends who plays second singles.

Do you know every players have their rights to play Davis Cup (for men) or FED Cup (for women) for their country? They can replace the starters to play if they can't play for injury or sickness, suspension, other emergency incident.

They wouldn't pick Kournikova for example. No need to put her there
