Bonuses will be this week and next week so write as many articles as you can for this week to get bonus in Miami next week :D
Commit for doubles and Have fun !! :)
ART Ho Anabel Medina Garruges attendance in Indian wells is in doubt as she is still in Acapulco. After all the drama of last week she is trying to sort out paper work to help Pablo :inlove: make it into the US. However the US has decided that they do not want people like Pablo in their country, we spoke to Anabel to find out how she felt.
Q: Hello Anabel how are you today?
A: How the **** do you think I feel, This is a ****ing joke the whole thing my beloved Pablo and me are now over, hes been sent to jail!
Q:  well he did sell porn videos of you on the internet!
A: Only because that stupid **** Cibulkova told him too, He told me she arrived naked in our room when I was playing doubles and he had no choice but to sleep with her.
Q: There is always a choice maybe you were not meant to be together!
A: **** you, you stupid interviewer go and take a long walk of a short pier! Furthermore Pablo was found out to be a women on many steroids!
Q:  how did you find this out.
A: When Pablo was arrested they took a DNA sample and said he was female.
This swearing continued for the next 10 minuites and made it impossible to finish the interview, as you can see Anabel is very upset and needs some friends right now, however she has none, Anable is trying to fly to IW but is finding it very difficult. Rumours say she has already rebounded for Pablo with an American dude called Bryan. However these are unconfirmed. Anabel has also decided that pablo and her will not have anything more to do with each other. She then said he was only good for one thing, even if it was surgically implanted. Stay tuned for more interviews with Anabel, Patty and Anne in this busy week on ART, I am sure nothing else can go wrong!

Anna Kournikova Set for Indian Wells
"I am feeling great and looking forward to scoring another doubles title with Rezai. I hope to improve in singles and my goal is to take down Nadia. I played a practice match with Bojana Jovanoski yesterday, i lost 6-4 7-5. She played great but I felt an injury in my ankle but i hope it won't cause me problems. I also played with Sloane Stephens and took her down 6-0 6-2. It was easy but the practice was good. I think Sloane is needs to work on her game but she is a great player I think i have a chance to really make a dent here. I can't wait to take on Nadia."
Sloane Stephens Not Optimistic About Her Chances.
I am not feeling great on the court right now. it felt good last week getting a win in singles and semi finals in doubles but it does not feel like it's here this week. I lost 0-6 1-6 to Bojana and 0-6 2-6 to Anna in practice matches. I hope that i will do well in doubles and maybe get it together for singles. I am not happy with my latest performances."
(Bojana's interview will be later)

Just when you thought the young Japanese talent was down and out she fought back from being 6-4 3-0 down, eventually prevailing after Caroline retired with problems with her back, again. Caroline needs to re-think her strategy for the rest of the ART tour if her back is going to be a constant problem. A good fight from Kurumi, helped by the retirement from Caroline.

It seemed as though Daniela would find herself on the losing end of yet another close match but after the first set, her coach Hian came onto court and spoke some good words of advice. Daniela still seemed nervous and was instantly broken to go down 2-0 but something just took over her and we got to see the real talent of Daniela only losing 4 more games in the process taking the second and third set by the same scoreline, 6-3 6-3.

Domi :)
Plays with a talented spainard in doubles :P
Out on court 2 and Dinara Safina wasted no time in getting through to the second round with a comfortable 7-5 6-1 victory over the sixteenth seed Patty Schnyder. Patty found it hard to deal with Dinara's power and looked as though she was a little sluggish running for the ball, it almost looked like Dinara was laughing at her in the second set as Patty couldn't get to the balls. Dinara will be very happy with her win today.
Both women put on a marathon of a performance but in the end, the strong and fit Russian pulled through, with a very convincing win! After that performance I think we can safely say that Kuzzy is back!!
And the first top ten seed of the day is through....just. It was just one point that was the difference in this match as both players gave the center court crowd a match worth remembering. Julia has so much potential but her nerves and shot selection let her down, with random drop shots and lobs creeping into her game now and again. At 5-5 in the tiebrake, Justine played the tennis of her life and managed to tough out the win in just over 2 hours. A good match from Justine but a missed opportunity from Julia.
Jelena Jankovic finally showed what she is made of as a tennis player, coming back after a tough first set to take both the second and third set quite impressively. JJ gets her form into good focus at the Indian Wells, advancing through to a well deserved Second Round!!
And it's a disappointing day for coach jose as he loses another one of his players in three sets, with Hungarian youngster Timea finally succumbing to Liezel Huber in an up and down three set match. Timea has trouble keeping consistent in matches and can never really find her rythm, especially when Liezel Huber is out on court. The variety in the American's game was too much for Babos, with plenty of slice and chip and charge, Timea found it hard to know what to do out on court. A spirited performence which ended in defeat and Liezel now will advance to the second round in her home country.
Kim Clijsters is another who finally showed the form that she can give as a tennis player challenging at the top! It was clear that her opponent Sprem was not feeling it today, and decided to retire as Kim had the match within closing distance! However Kim gets a fine win, through to the Second Round!!
In another tight contest, the young Serbian managed to overcome Flavia just in the nip of time. Both players dominated a set each and everyone was unsure who would advance and with Flavia going 5-3 up in the third, it looked as though the Italian would take advantage of her lesser experienced opponent but she could not sustain her lead and the talented Serbian took it to a tiebrake where she would eventually win 7-5. Flavia will be gutted with this but she didn't play a bad match, Bojana just played like she had nothing to lose and toughed it out to go through to the second round.
The No.9 seed Alize Cornet from France played a tough but clever match today against American Harkleroad, who seemed to show some pressure here today in the First Round. Harkleroad managed to come back in the second, but it wasn't enough in the third as Cornet closed in for the win!!

Few days ago she destroyed British hope Laura Robson...
Originally said by Dominika
She is hope of British tennis? :haha: So, tennis in England will die soon.
... in Exhibition in New York. It was tough match, but in the end Dominika won.
Originally said by Dominika
What? Tough match? You're kidding or what? I just gave her one set. People paid for ticket and they wanted to see something more than score 6-0 6-0.
In Madison Square Garden appeared a lot of stars. One of them was Pete Sampras, who surprised everyone when he said, that his favorite in Tour is Dominika Ciblkova.
Originally said by Dominika
He surprised anyone? For me it's obvious that I'm the main star of Tour. Especially when that not smart screamer from Siberia retired. And I'm smart, good looking and I'm one of the most talented player in tennis now.
Today Dominika after weird match defeated debutant Laura Pous Tio.
Originally said by Dominika
What? We have 2 Lauras in Tour? I thought I played with Robson, it's strange for me. Really, we have 2 Lauras?
Yes, the match was weird. After losing a close first set, Dominika without any problems won the next sets.
Originally said by Dominika
Yes, I think it's all because of my coach's strategy. And of course I'm little dizzy after New York
In next match Dominika play against Sveta Kuznetsova. Will she win another match or due to her hangover she will lose in 2nd round? We all have to wait 2 days, but no matter who win, this will be another battle from Queen of all Sluts.

After some strong peformences in recent weeks, Anabel Medina Garrigues continues her good form by reaching the second round here in Indian Wells, managing to deal with the threat posed by 40 year old Kimiko Date Krumm. It was a tough encounter throughout with both players playing some good tennis but Anabel came up with goods in the final set, shrugging off any nerves she had by blasting down 4 winners in the final game of the set.

Mashona Washington (USA) def. (15) Johanna Larsson (SWE)
6-3 3-6 6-4
In a tight and nervy affair, Mashona Washington used the support from her home crowd and managed to begin the day off on court 2 on a high for the Americans with a nailbiting 3 set match. It wasn't so much that Johanna played a bad match, she was just outclassed by a fired up and determined Mashona. It was all the American in the final set, constantly keeping her nose ahead, after breaking her opponent in the first game of the final set and Johanna could not make a dent on the American's serve, a good victory for Washington.
Today we finally saw the return of Venus Williams, she seemed quite shaken from recent events and struggle to win a point in the first set, in fact she managed only 2, both errors from the Croatian. Just when you thought Venus might never be able to play competitive tennis again after being 5-0 40-30 down in the second set, she came back and took it on an epic tiebraker 20-18, the American crowd going wild and then took that momentum in the third until her opponent retired under mysterious circumstances, a good fight from Venus but still a lot of work to be done!!
Krystina Pliskova worked hard today for her win against the talented Canadian in the First Round of Indian Wells. Pliskova used her arsenal of powerful shots in the final set to advance through to the second Round. Pliskova has said to be quite a fan of the Indian Wells tournament, and will be hoping to keep her success going here!
Back on centre court and Ana Ivanovic wasted no time in dispatching thirteenth seed Maria Kirilenko from the tournament, looking quite smug with herself after the match. Maybe 13 really is an unlucky number, especially in the case of the Russian anyhow. Ana was serving brilliantly today, firing down 10 aces and keeping a first serve percentage of over 90%. Maria was just outclassed today and could not find the answers for Ana's power which is a shame as Maria was looking to find some good form in recent weeks. Ana will now advance to round 2, here in California.

Why Venus play in Indian Wells? She stop boycotting it?
After losing the first set quite easily, and still remaining with contreversary over Masha's injured shoulder during a medical time out, Masha came back strong in the second set, playing unbelievably well. The third set became more of a contest again, in the sweltering Desert heat, as Masha finally managed to prevail into the second Round after it became clear that Petkovic seemed to be absolutely exhausted over the humidity that was present. I'm sure Masha will be very happy with what was a convincing win here today!
Marion Bartoli managed to secure a very good win out on court 3 against the Acapulco champion, Francesca Schiavone. Francesca just seemed uncomfortable again on the hard courts and lacked the movement and rythm which we saw her have in Acapulco the week previously. Marion did not show any respect after the first set, fighting to break Franny's routines and cut down her chance of producing angles, leaving no margin for error for the Italian. Francesca fell away after the second set and let Marion claim the win in just under 90 minutes of play.
Hlavackova finally found her form again coming into Indian Wells, after defeating a tricky opponent in China's Jie Zheng! The first set was debatable after not being able to take chances that Hlavackova could have implemented in order to win in sraight sets. But after the change a theruputic break, and change of ends Hlavackova kept her composure, taking opportunities when needed to break down Jie Zheng, for a triumphant win, and place in the Second Round!
With this match being closely watched by a certain Miss Victoria Azarenka, she would eventually find out that her nect opponent is in the form of Elena Vesnina after the Russian produced some of her best tennis to defeat home favourite Madison Brengle in three sets. It was a tough match with Madison gaining the incentive early on, leading 6-3 5-3 with a match point in the second set but it was not enough and she looked very tight when she served the second serve on match point, which was almost eaten up by Vesnina. Elena then dug deep to find some form, only allowing Madison one more game in the entire match and Madison just fell away despire the support of the home crowd. Elena's reward is a second round clash against world number 2, Victoria Azarenka tomorrow.
With one of the closest matches of the day, and with a match that could have gone either way, Lucic i the end captialised taking a third set tiebreak, 7-2! It looks as if Lucic is back in form, and should never be counted out as a contender for the title! With the tennis that Lucic produced today, nothing is questionable. She looks fit, in form and ready to take on any one within her path!
Vera finally came third time lucky over her arch enemy Karolina Pliskova today in what was a very convincing and fierce victory. The first set looked as if it was to revel the former demons of their past two meetings, however loving being at Indian Wells, while having the crowd behind her Vera pulled back in the second set, stunning a shocked Pliskova, who seemed to be confused as what action to take in the third. But Vera's momentum kept going in the third as Zvonareva brushed aside Karo Pliskova quickly in the third set, advancing through to the Second Round. Vera looked happily convinced after the match, and I will look forward to hearing what she has to say.

Anastacia Pavlyuchenkova finally made her mark here in Indian Wells impressing everyone with her dominant staright sets win against World No.11 Marie-Eve Pelletier who couldn't seem to carry on her form from last week! Pavlyuchenkova dominated most of the match while covering good ground, and hitting the ball with great precision. She made her decisions well going for some unbelievable winners. This girl is certainly developing and improving her game as she plays more matches, and I would not be surprised if she had a good run here this year in the Desert.
Nadia Petrova got off to a viscious start in her campaign for the Indian Wells crown against Anna Kournikova. Both women fought to keep their serve in the First, however, Petrova managed to break at 5-5, and move forward in a love game to take the first Set. Anna tried to beat Petrova to it in the second, but Petrova was not having any of it and looked desperate to not have to play a third set. She looked exhausted, and it looked as if the heat was getting to Nadia, however she pulled through in the end. I'm sure Nadia will be celebrating her win with some much well deserved food later on. Go on Nadia treat yourself!!

all of my players landed in the bottom half of both singles and doubles...why?!?!?!
Today first match played Nadia Petrova, one of the favorites to Indian Wells' title. In first match she defeated Anna Kournikova, former big tennis star, who tries to back to main tour.
Originally said by Nadia
Anna is living legend of tennis. Of course, not because of great success, but rather of her PR and success in show business. I'm little disappointed that Enrique Iglesias didn't appear on the Stadium. I wanted to see him. But maybe next time I will have a chance.
Nadia had a serious problem to win with Kournikova. Ladies played 2 close sets before Nadia could leave a court as a winner. The final result - 7-5 7-6(7) can be a good predictor for her next match.
Originally said by Nadia
This was a tough match for me. I'm really surprise that I had to play with such good opponent in first round. Especially the second set was really hard for me. Anna played perfect meeting against me, and who knows, maybe she would reach a final stage of this tournament if she could play with another player.
Nadia was also asked about how she would celebrate her good start.
Originally said by Nadia
I haven't thought about this yet. Maybe I eat something good? Maybe I drink some good drink with Jelena?
In second round she play with Maria Sharapova. This match was announced as a match of the day 4.
Originally said by Nadia
It will be excellent test of my form. I hope that with help of wonderful audience I will pass this test.
From other news:
Tomorrow the journey for title will start the leader of world ranking, Anna Chakvetadze. She will face to Kurumi Nara, who surprisingly eliminated Caroline Wozniacki. Bookmakers don't give Nara any chances to win her match against Anna.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova Shows She's A Real Threat at Indian Wells
Despite a horrendous start to her season, Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, is now starting to make a name for herself on the ART Tour. As one of the youngest players on the tour Anastasia has been projected to make it big but up until a few weeks ago she hadn't really shown much potential. Despite a gritty first round loss at the Australian Open (which went deep into the third set), she didn't claim her first win until Doha where she received back-to-back wins for the first and only time on the tour. Lately she's been lucky to claim a win here and there but she now seems to be coming into her own on the hard courts which she claims are her favorite surface.
Today Anastasia was facing the number eleven seed, Marie-Eve Pellitier of Canada. Pellitier has had some great results on tour this year, but when it came to taking on the young Pavlyuchenkova she just didn't have the goods to use her experience and take the match. Instead, the inexperience and determination of Pavlyuchenkova prevailed and it stylish fashion we may add. In a 75 64 affair Pavlyuchenkova dominated on serve and only needed two service breaks late in each set to take down her opponent in what was one of the few straight set matches throughout the first round. We sat down for a quick interview with the tours newest star after her match.
Q: Anastasia, how did you feel about your performance out there today?
I think I played really well. It's always tough to begin a tournament because the nerves are high and and everyone wants to win. I could tell that Pellitier wasn't very prepared for this match and I took full advantage of the situation at hand. She was serving well but once I found my opportunities I took them and dominated with my forehand and backhand. I've got an all court game and it was simply the better game out there today. I think I could have ended it sooner, but I haven't played in a while and wanted to see what the conditions were like out there. Pellitier is obviously a great player but I she looked really tired out there today so it was fairly easy for me to win today. Even my serve, which is sometimes a liability, was working really well and keeping her pined behind the baseline.
Q: You seemed very in-control of the match. Do you think this form will continue while you're here in the desert?
I sure hope so! I love the hard courts and I think I proved that in Doha when I played my best matches of the year so far. I think I'm steadily proving myself out here on tour and I can tell that there is going to be a new wave of girls moving up toward the top of the rankings as those players at the top are getting tired from performing so well early in the season. I mean look at Anna Chakvetadze, what has she done since the Australian Open? There are plenty of other important tournaments to win like this one that everyone should take into consideration. I mean everyone wants to win grand slams, but I don't think that's the only thing to strive for. You want consistency and that's what will take to you the top for a longer period of time. Having said that I think my game is really on fire right now and I think that I can really make a solid run at this title. I'm also teaming up with Alona Bondarenko in the doubles draw and I think our games compliment each other very well. I'll be surprised if we don't get a few wins while we're here and maybe we'll create a permanent doubles team.
Q: It looks like you don't play again until Saturday, but that you'll also have to double up and play both your singles and doubles matches. How do you prepare for that situation?
Well it's unfortunate for me that I got such a bad schedule for this tournament, but it's also completely out of my control. I've done poorly with great time for rest before so maybe this is what I need to start my game fresh and really push through this tournament. I think I'm fit enough and ready to take my first title.
Dinara Safina advanced to the second round of Indian Wells with a straight sets victory over 16th seed Patty Schnyder. So far, Safina has failed to show her full potential in singles - only winning a few rare matches - but will this be a breakthrough tournament for her? It is too early to say, as she has a tough challenge to face in the next round where she will play Daniela Hantuchova - who seems to be in good form.
Safina's back injury has clearly hampered her singles results but in Doubles it doesn't seem like it has troubled her too much. Currently, she is ranked no.5 in doubles and will be eager to build on it. In fact her sole title on the ART tour, came in doubles - she and partner Laura Robson won in Dubai. This week she will play doubles with compatriot Elena Dementieva, her usual doubles partner, Laura Robson is suffering from a viral illness and so she has decided to play singles only.
Safina had a few words today after yesterday's match:
I mean it was a tough match and I'm very happy I managed to get through it in straight sets. Patty is an extremely difficult opponent and she has been playing well recently - so it was a tough challenge. Hopefully I can continue playing like this, although I have a tough match next against Hantuchova. She has won here in the past and she likes playing here - the crowd may even be on her side. I'll try my best and give it 110% - that's all I can hope for.
I also have doubles with Elena, and again hopefully we can do our best. It's nice that we are getting a chance to play with each other and hopefully we will enjoy it.
Asked about what she likes about Indian Wells:
The fans here are amazing, very supportive, they are great. I also like that there are many golf courses here - I like to play golf when I have spare time. So far I've been playing better than my brother, he is annoyed and wants to do better than me, but hopefully I won't let that happen.
Thank you very much Dinara and good luck.
Thank you

Hello everyone, so I am currently playing in Indian Wells. I really love playing here, the fans are awesome and very thankful their support. I won here a few years ago, I love Indian Wells - the atmosphere is great and I just really like playing here. Yesterday I beat Karolina Pliskova for the first time after losing to her 2 times in a row. I guess you could say it was 3rd time lucky  I was very happy to get through that match as she has given me trouble in matches we had in the past.
Next round, i will be playing Venus Williams, that will be an incredibly tough match as Venus is a terrific player. I can only hope to do my best and hopefully I will get the positive result in the end.
Doubles, I will be playing with Patty again - hopefully we can produce some good results like we did in Doha.
Finally, thanks once again for you support. Hopefully I can continue my run here.
The Japanese youngster put up more of a fight than expected but it was in vain as the number 1 seed showed just why she has that ranking, she moves on to round 3 where she will either play Daniela Hantuchova or Dinara Safina.
And it was the Russian who looked as though they would make a swift journey through to round 3 but things for Dinara fell apart when she was leading 6-1 4-3 and Daniela took advantage of a nervy and tight Dinara where she will now go onto face world number 1, Anna Chakvetadze.
And the first seed of the day is lost in form of Slovakian number 1, Dominika Cibulkova who couldn't repeat her compatriot's peformence in this epic three and a half hour match. Svetlana managed to tough it out, saving four match points and winning one of the best matches of her career.

Anyway Kuzzy wants to thank Dear Luck who helped her through this match.:)
In a topsy turvy affair, which saw some ugly tennis in crucial points of the match, Jelena became the victor after capitalising on Sam's 36 unforced errors. This is one of Jelena's best matches to date, claiming a huge scalp in defeating her first top ten player.

Out on court 2 and Sabine Lisicki wasted no time in reaching the third round with a confident 6-1 6-4 victory over Kim Clijsters who looked in shocking form. Sabine produced some good tennis today and is looking to be on the favourites in her section of the draw.
And the seeds havn't been in fine form here this week in Indian Wells after French number 1 Alize Cornet allowed her opponent to outsmart her in the final set after having a 4-1 lead. Elena played some decent tennis and her opponent couldn't control her nerves in the end.
Justine Henin shed a little light on the top ten seeds today after she produced some GOAT like tennis to down experience Liezel Huber in three sets. Liezel was playing too good in the first set but she could not sustain her momentum in the next two sets and allowed Justine to outplay her and confirm her place in round 3 on the tournament.

After a decent start from the world number 3, her service percentage dropped from 80% to 40% and she could not rely on any of her shots to defeat the Serbian. Bojana made it difficult for Laura, hitting lovely angles, which Laura simply could not get to. Bojana looked thrilled with her victory afterwards and will go on to face world number 10 Justine Henin in the next round.

She planned something different than this. Dominika Cibulkova seeded with number 14 lost today to Svetlana Kuznetsova. After three and a half hour match Dominika left the court as a defeated.

It was kind of joke. I have 4 match points and four times in row the umpires' decisions were against me. The Hawk-Eye system was broken today, audience was against me, and that bitch Mariana Alves once against sit in the umpires chair. It's fucking joke.
Dominika said also a few words about her opponent.

She plays disaster this year. Even with big help from umpires she had problems to win with me. She will lose in next round.
Dominika will stay in tournament, but only in doubles part of it. She will play with Anabel Medina Garrigues.

http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy62/milot11/images-1.jpg
Q: First of all congratulations, what a fantastic match.
Thank you very much. Yeah it was a fantastic but a tough match as well.
Q: What got you through when you faced 4 match points? What went up in your mind?
I don't know really. I just kept fighting and probably just thinking that the Major Slut would beat me here pissed me off and made my game turn around in a second.
Q: Tell us more about this match? What did it feel like going out there with the crowd behind your back?
It was really amazing out there. The crowd was fantastic. They helped me a lot and thats why I want to thank them :). The match was full of drama. I was really surprised how she even took that first set. I was playing brilliantly and at some point I get a point penalty for swearing in Russian which I never did, you can also see it on the reply. It was terrible for a moment there but then I regrouped in the 2nd and 3rd and as I said the crowd played a major role in my win :).
Q: Cibulkova blamed the umpire which in certain moments was against her according to her. What is your opinion on this?
I mean, she is frustrated so its kinda understandable that she is going to say these things, and to tell you the truth what ever she says doesn't mean a thing to me. I know she is a slut and all but she sometimes goes over the top. Maybe its because she wants more media attention than she gets .
Q: What are your thoughts on your next match?
Its gonna be tough. I had a tough match today but the next one its gonna be tougher I guess. But thats what the tournament is all about, with every round the opponents are gonna be much tougher .
Q: Dominika Cibulkova also said that you will loose the next round.Any response?
I just wanna say to her it was a pleasure that she showed on in the court and made this match interesting, but the winner is not her so she is gonna have to live with it. And also this, even though I might loose in the next round my mission is done here  (I hope she knows what I mean).
Q: You are teamed up with Justine Henin in doubles? Thoughts on that?
I appreciate Justine a lot. I give my thanks to her for playing with me and I respect her game a lot. Our opponents are tough but hopefully we'll manage to scrap through :).
Q: What about your ranking on ART? You are pretty low there?
I know, but I am trying my hardest to climb up. And with two victories here I think my chances are pretty high to get into that top 25 :).
Q:Any last words?
I just want to thank the fans again. I love playing in Indian Wells and I love this tournament. This is my home :).
Q: What were the conditions out there? How did you feel?
The conditions were quite heavy frankly but overall it was good. I'm glad that in the end I was the one with the "W".
Q: You played a good friend of yours today? Your thoughts?
I did. Actually Huber is one of my dearest friends on the tour and I respect her a lot for what she has done for the sport. Today I was a fraction better than her and of course she was a bit injured, but still its a good match for me and my confidence.
Q: You are teaming up with Kuznetsova in doubles? Do you expect anything from this tournament?
I expect to win really. Svetlana is an amazing doubles player and as soon as I got invited from her I accepted. Our match will be tough to win but not impossible. Hopefully it will be a good match.
Q: What about your next match against Jovanovski?
She is a great player. I've seen her play and she is amazing. She knows how to redirect the ball well and she is young so I'm looking forward to facing her. I saw her match against Laura and frankly she was mighty impressive :). A one to look forward definitely :).
Q: You love Indian Wells. You've won here before. Is this your year?
I wish this was my year. I love this place and tournament and hopefully I'll win some matches here. I feel pretty good about my Tennis right now and we'll see what happens next :).
Q: Any last words?
No, nothing. Hopefully my next match will be a descent one and the fans will leave that stadium with joy from the fact of the quality of tennis they've seen :).

Q: Welcome. An Amazing match you played today.
Thank you.
Q: It seemed like everything was right on track for you today? Any reasons for that?
I don't know. I was feeling pretty good out there and playing the best I could. I faced a tough opponent and I feel like my quality went raising as the match progressed. I am happy I won.
Q: Your opponent was Kim Clijsters. Any thoughts on her?
She is a great athlete. She was running down every ball I hit at her. She tried her best but my quality of play was above her today.
Q: Your serve seemed to work really well. Have you been doing any practice on it lately?. I mean you served 20 aces :)
Yeah. Serve is a main thing in tennis. I am trying to improve it and today it worked really well. Hopefully it will continue this way.
Q: In doubles you are with your friend Vesnina. What is it in her that you like so much? You teamed up with her in so many tournaments now.
She is a great player and a great person most importantly. We are good friends and we had some pretty descent results in doubles lately. Thats why we decided we would gather up again and play doubles here. Hopefully this time we will take the tittle.
Q: Any thoughts on your next opponent?
I just saw that my next opponents is Dementieva. She has been around the tour for so long now and her experience got her through many matches. It will be a tough match but hopefully I'll manage to get through.
Q:Any last words?
Yeah. I want to thank all the fans who are supporting me here. It would mean the world to me if I can take this tittle. But even If I don't I am happy with the way I'm playing and hopefully I can take this form into my next tournaments as well. Thank you.

Bojana Through Once More!
"I am super happy with my win. I really can't believe i made such an upset. I think i am improving so much i might even win this tournament. I really love Laura but her coach was screaming bad things at me after the match. I think he is slightly insane. I am feeling great right now and i used a lot of good angles in the match. I hope to do well in my doubles match with Ana. I really like and admire her. I get some questions on why i do not make contact or play doubles with Jelena. The reason is that she is pretty mean to because she thinks i am a threat to her. I think a lot of people like Me and Ana don't like her lame attitude and her pushy style of play. I can't wait to take on Justine! Thank you."

Anabel speaks about Pablo life on art and the many sluts on art!
Hello and today we Have managed to grab a moment with Anabel Medina Garruges now in the last few weeks she has hit the headlines with her binge sex time in hotel rooms and her fights with dominika cibulkova and beatrix Garcia Vidagany and others. Today she speaks.
Hello there Anabel
Hello there
So you made it to Indian wells?
Yes eventually I had to get this private jet because The other plans would not get me here. Pablo had to stay he apparently was thrown in jail for crimes against me I am not sure what they were but thats the end of him.
So no wedding bells in the future.
No.
So you won yesterday?
Yes it was brilliant I cannot remember who I beat all I know is I won and that is that.
Ok, You play doubles with dominika Cibulkova you were quite mean about her last week.
Mean? I was not mean I was truthful she says she playing with me because spain is giving her money, the real reason was I drank too much Wine, I did not have a clue what was going on, I was agreeing to everything including this think where I go to party with all these older married couples and apparently we take of our clothes and the rest is history.
Anabel you realise this is known as a swingers party
Ohh is that what its called sounds like a laugh Maybe I shall make some new friends.
Ok well anabel you fell out with fellow spainard Beatrix last week why was this?
Because shes a dirty little slut I heard she has Lice... And I do not mean head lice....
Whoa how did you find that out?
In my doubles last week I noticed she kept itching down below
Ok fair enough any thoughts on anyone else on the ART Tour?
I like Heidi I think she is a lovely person I get on with her well. But apart from that I do not really know Everyone else is just jealous of my beauty and the fact that I get every man I want.
Ok well thank you anabel for that revealing interview!
Thats alright I am doing this thing in my doubles match were I put chilly powder in Cibulkovas drinks so I do not have to listern to her annoying high pitched voice. Ohh and I am going to buy some cream of Bea last thing we want is an infestation across ART!

My life sucks. I could have SWORN that was a rule for this game.
Tennis is really a strange sport. It happens that a player who played really well in the first months have a "blackout", and starts losing every match. And it happens, too, that someone who has done nothing special, can really find her shape and start winning matches on matches.
Daniela Hantuchova belongs to the second group of tennis players: ranked outside Top 30, Daniela reached R3 at Indian Wells, a tournament she always liked, where she seems to have found her tennis back.
Two wins, two great comebacks. In the first round, Daniela surprised French girl Aravane Rezai after having lost the first set in the tie-break. After her coach's encouraging words, Daniela won the second and the third set, with a double 6-3 6-3. She found Dinara Safina in the second round, who was coming from a great victory against sixteenth seed Patty Schnyder. Even this time, Daniela came back after having badly loss the first set (she did only a game), and found the power to defeat her opponent, winning the following sets 6-4 6-2.
Hantuchova didn't want to spend a lot of words, because she wants to focus on her next match against world number one Anna Chakvetadze. And she also won her first round in doubles with Johanna Larsson.
She simply said:
Daniela Hantuchova
Indian Wells is like my second home. I always feel really well here.
I'm playing a good tournament, but I'm going to face Chakvetadze for a place in the Quarterfinals. I have no words to describe how I feel now. I only now that's my first time since a few months that I am happy.
When tennis mixes with real life. Andrea Hlavackova has showed in these first months in the tour a nice personality, she never had problems saying what she thinks, but what will she say after the sexy story she seems to be in?
This shocking news was published on a Gosspi Blog Homepage, where it's said Hlavackova took part if an exclusive party the match after her win against Jie Zheng in the first round of Indiian Wells, and there, maybe because of some drinks on plus, she was seen with ATP tennis player Tommy Robredo entering a reserved room. And that's not all. Some people working in the house where the party took place, said Hlavackova was fiercely saying something to Robredo, and at the end of all it seems they maybe broke their short relationship.
Paparazzi tried to have some sort of release from Hlavackova, but the beautiful Czech player seems to have disappeared. What will happen? Andrea has to play today in the singles competition, after having lost in doubles with her partner Heidi El Tabakh. Probably after the match we will finally know the truth. Incredibly, people are more interested to this sexy news rather than her result today.
Good luck to Andrea by the way. She really needs it, for everything.
And Miss Consistent is through to the nhext round but it was a tough day for the number 4 seed, having a lot of trouble against the young Czech Kristyna Pliskova but her mental toughness and acute accuracy managed to see her thorugh to tomorrow's third round. A good fight from Kristyna but it wasn't enough to stop one of ART's most consistent players/
You could hear the cheers from outside Indian Wells tennis centre after Mashona Washington controlled her nerves to oust hot tempered Spaniard Anabel Medina Garrigues in the second round. Mashona seemed to lose it a little in the second set but soon got it together again coming back from 4-1 down to defeat Anabel in just under 120 minutes. Anabel's earlier words seemed to have not affected anybody on the ART tour with Mashona saying after her match 'like no one cares about her anyway.' Sorry Anabel.
In a perculiar match up, Nadia Petrova won the battle of the Russians after Maria Sharapova seemed to lose it the latter stages of the match. Maria's tennis since Sydney has not been at it's best and after serving a record 25 double faults, Nadia took advantage of this with some big hitting to seal the win and decide her third round fate where she will either play fifth seed Rebecca Marino or the talented Czech Andrea Hlavackova.
In the toughest match so far in ART Indian Wells, Rebecca Marino tanked two sets leading all three sets 5-2, with Andrea fighting back in all of them to seal her place in round 3 of the tournament. Andrea seemed to go walk about for a few weeks, not showing us that fighting spirit which we saw in Auckland and Melbourne but it seemed like she was rearing to go and after fighting back in all three sets, she has finally produced another decent result. Rebecca will be disappointed for sure but she just seemed mentally jaded and couldn't close any of the sets out.
And over on centre court, Venus Williams gave the American crowd another reason to cheer after she continued her comeback trail to down eighth seed and Croatian number 1, Mirjana Lucic in a three hour match up. Venus is still far from her best but Mirjana proved to be shaky yet again this week, failing to convert on her break point opportunity in the ninth game of the second set. Venus was thrilled to go through but it was not without a struggle and she will face one of two Russians in the next round, either Vera Zvonareva or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
Serena_4ever
Feb 13th, 2011, 02:40 PM
Bottom half of Round 1 Doubles are on their way!! :)
In yet again another thriller, Anastasia came from a set behind to go on and defeat her compatriot Vera Zvonareva, edging the Russian 7-5 in the deciding set. Vera played well, and it was always going to be tough between these two non-seeded players, looking for their opportunity in the draw which is why both of them played like they had nothing to lose. A fantastic match but unfortunately somebody had to lose and Anastasia just played more freely in the latter stages, leaving Vera confused as what to do. Anastasia will now face American home favourite Venus Williams in the next round.
In another unseeded battle over on court 3, Ana Ivanovic came out the victor in a surprisingly straight forward affair against the unpredictable Marion Bartoli. Ana couldn't put a foot wrong but her opponent didn't help herself by producing 23 unforced errors and only 2 winners in the whole match. Marion played great in the last round but couldn't replicate that form here today and Ana took full advantage to be another non-seeded player through to round 3 where she will take on either non-seeded Elena Vesnina or the world number 2, Victoria Azarenka.
It's been a tough day for the seeds with only 2 of them advancing today and the Belarussian, Victoria Azarenka was knocked out in spectacular fashion to the hands of Elena Vesnina in a straight set victory. Elena produced some good tennis to stop Victroia utilizing her power and movement, by producing some tricky angled returns mixed in with big serves and huge hitting. Elena showed today that her game is versatile enough to beat the top players and if she keeps on improving, there's no reason why she cannot be a top 20 player. She now has a tough task ahead of her in round 3 in the form of Serbian, Ana Ivanovic.

Venus plotting to win Title, then shut down Indian Wells for GOOD!
Miss Venus Williams, today announced that if she wins the title in Indian Wells she is buying the tournament out with that money and moving it elsewhere, to a place of her choosing. This decision has caused a ripple in the Indian Wells community as they are regretting having heckled Venus in the first place now. This evil plan seems to be unstoppable as Venus has beaten a title favorite in Mirjana Lucic, and is in sharp form after being kidnapped....anyway. Beware Indian Wells, and all other players on the ART, you guys have gotta save this tournament or else Queen Vee will destroy it. (It might involve hiring Time Lords of Gallifrey to alter history and move this tournament elsewhere....)
