quick translation :

Marinette P, 44 yo, has admitted to have killed her 3 newborn babies by drowning after she gave birth to them, in her bath.

So they got buried in the garden of her house, in Contres, in Loir-et-Cher.
The bodies have been discovered in 2006 by the new owners of the house, according to 20minutes (a french newspaper).

That house has been sold in 2003, when Marinette and her husband were getting divorced.

That mother of 4 children, who appeared free in front of the criminal court in Blois, was under a life sentence.

The general lawyer, during her indictment, had called the jurors for taking into account Marinette's family context which was very hard to deal with.

"We had the verdict that we wanted, which was the most adaptated to my mum, we were waiting that for 5 years, we are really happy, my sisters and I." has said Thierre, 27 yo, Marinette's eldest son.

Jeudi, elle a été condamnée à cinq ans de prison avec sursis et trois ans de mise à l’épreuve avec obligation de soins.

Seriously, it is getting sicker and sicker :help: I can't fucking believe how that woman can escape such an atrocity... a murderer is free !!! Can't believe this !!!! And that's happening in France, where people like to make a fuss about Human Rights and Law

You can't convict someone with a psyquiatric condition, which I'm pretty sure she has, considering the brutality of such a crime. Penal law is extremely complicated and you can't be sure about a case unless you've looked at all the sides of the story and analized all the existing proofs.

That's not an excuse at all.

So I can get pregnant tomorrow, then kill my baby after birth, then I could say "ohh I have a mental disorder because I did that" .... Mental disorder or that, we need to punish these people, otherwise everything will be messed up. We need to show that's not good at all to do.

Plus, Veronique Courjault did the same to 4 of her children a few years ago in France, and yeah, she was acting totally normal... I mean, she was not crazy... she had a work, she was loving her other children and her husband.... she had some friends.... She was hidden her pregnancy even in the summer :help: then she killed them. But her mental disorder could not be proved, that's the thing.

No jail time for drowning your kids in the bathtub? As a father of two teenage boys, all I can say is...........Vive La France!

It's a good thing she didn't try sending her children to a better school.
