Most of my family lives in that little area on the map called Townsville so I've pretty much got Grey hair!
It's damn big!

It's a bit like Katrina, a lot of areas are worried about the Storm surge...and it's supposed to hit at like 10pm.....dark at night!

Ps guys did you see this?

when anna bligh... :o

I dunno....she's been pretty decent through the whole thing - It's Julia Gillard that has shown true colours....or lack there of....bit robotic.

I just spoke to my mum in Tville and she said she's all ready saying what she had and then says 'And a bottle of wine'...LOL.

Bloody Australians, I remember having a drink during the floods too, we're terrible!

What's wrong with her? She's doing a lot much better than Julia Gillard could ever. And she provided Auslan interpreters during all press conferences for the deaf community which is fantastic.

It will most likely dissipate a little before hitting the coast though, right?

^For most cyclones, yes that happens, but this girl is still intensifying, hopefully it goes down to a 4 (but it would probably still be a high 4).
Most of the time our country has never had to deal with a high category 5, in history most of the storms have been low 5s.

No confirmed deaths thankgod, but the structural damage looks really immense. So scary. Queensland can't catch a break.

I have family in Townsville...but they are luckily all fine :)
