GDF SUEZ a également parrainé en 2009 le « Women Tennis Trophy » qui s'est tenu à Charleroi.

Le « Brussels Open by GDF SUEZ » est un tournoi de la catégorie « Premier » doté d'un prize money de 618 000$. Il aura lieu du 14 au 21 mai à Bruxelles, sur terre battue, au Royal Primerose Tennis Club. Ce tournoi permettra de réunir les meilleures joueuses du monde une semaine avant Roland-Garros.
