Now that we can set aside all talk of the made up Serena Slam and Rafa Slam (I still don't get why it isn't called the Steffi Slam or the Martina Slam since they both won the exact same tournaments in the exact same order and failed - that year - to get the CYGS), it's time to turn our attention elsewhere.

In the very unlikely case that Vera gets past Saint Kimberle, she will be 3/4ths of the way to the Venus slam - i.e. losing 4 straight GS finals in a row.
My memory is fuzzy, but has anyone else accomplished this ?
ASV perhaps ?

ASV didnt complete the runnerup slam, but she was mighty close. If she had managed to lose the 94 USO final! I am sure she regrets it to this day.

Hm, I'm still believing in Venus next Grand Slam. Perhaps Wimbledon, if she will not play with Pironkova of course  She should win more Grand Slams in her career.
