Some Kvitova fan couldn't take any more of her play and fainted or something, and now Zvonareva is distracted by it. :o They should suspend play for a while.

Today's players are too nice. Can you imagine if McEnroe was told to play on?

commentators said it may have been due to the heat, or maybe the person has a condition.

one of the commentators said that the ambulance said she had a fit or a seizure when she fell. They should of stopped play. It only would of been for 5 min away.

Dunno about the person in the crowd, but Vera does have a mental condition that worsens in this kind of situations. :sobbing:

one of the ambulance said that she had a fit or a seizure. they should of stopped play though, no excuse and it was a bad call from the umpire.

Wozniacki set this all up and destroy her possible opponent. First the car crash for Kim, now a dying person for Vera

Definitely should have stopped play.

Nah, this is a GRAND SLAM. In my opinion, playing through all of that without losing focus is the true mark of a champion. As much as the commentators brag on Vera's new found mental fortitude she always seem like one distraction away from losing total control. This is why I feel she will never win a slam.

Personally if I were Vera, I'd find Sergey more distracting than all of those things combined plus being attacked by a kangaroo.

Someone please edit the title of this to "injured" or something; it is really in bad taste (or at least very excessive) as it is. TIA.
