Hi friends...I have friend visiting with a young son. Caught the little bugger online on some sites that he should have NOT been viewing (lets leave it at that)...he was using my desktop as they did not travel with their own. I didn't want to rat him out and ruin their vacation so I thought I would install a block on my computer. Trouble is...I have no clue. Are there some free downloads or cheap programs that prohibit a user from going onto a particular sight? Any suggestions are appreciated...thanks!

it is far easier to just turn on your parental controls on firefox and do a white list. a list of sites he can visit.

alternatively, you can make a new user account for him in Windows (if that is what you are using) and turn on parental controls and customize them to your liking. Password the other accounts.

Anyway... awkward :o

When you do set up filters he'll know you know. I assume you didn't walk in on him :o

Your other option is to let it go and let his parents deal with it.
