Maybe when she plays Clijsters, she'll hit a ball and her racket head will fly off and hit the umpire

Oh, and Stefan Edberg killed a guy.

I thought you were joking but I looked it up, I'm shocked I've never heard of this. How awful for Stefan to live with and he was only 18 at the time, the poor man just fell awkwardly, hit his head and died a week later.

Oh, and Stefan Edberg killed a guy.

Wow. Never heard about this before.
It's like you have a best friend for 20 years and then he suddenly goes like: "Oh, by the way, I have 3 nipples and my unborn twin died in my mother's womb"

Poor Edberg! Wasn't there some sort of legal action from Wertheim's (the line judge) family against the Open or even Edberg himself?

That's really sad re. Edberg.

The funniest bit of that match was an Aussie in the crowd shouting back in response to the Polish chants.

"POLSKAAA...POLSKAAAA..."
"...WANKERRRS...WANKERRRS"

The best part was when Chinese supporters started to yell and Poles answered: CIIIICHOOOO, CIIICHHHOOO (which means: Shut up! Shut up! :spit:)

At least hug him you bitch, like Djokovic did.

Although I guess compared to how Djokovic hits, Aga's strokes feel like cotton.

I read that Edberg was so distraught that he contemplated retirement even before his career really began. That could explain why he became such a nice guy on the tour and there is the Stefan Edberg sportsmanship award which is handed out every year.

Edberg's mishit almost whack a guy's head off here, ball was travelling fast! its around the 2 minute mark

I agree, although I wouldn't go so far as to call her a bitch.

Surely if you crack a ballboy round the head with the ball, he deserves a little cuddle. Even if it was only Aga, surely being hugged by a big sweaty tennis girl would be a bit of a lifetime ambition for a ballboy.

I don't think Edberg was ever brought into it; I'm not sure about the tournament.

Also, Jon Wertheim (recently?) cleared up some confusion about this incident, as there was a mistaken impression that he was a relative of the man who died.
