View Full Version : How far can Bon Jovi (aka Bojana Jovanovski) go?

I saw her live against Zvonareva, and she impressed me. She could maybe be described as a ball basher, and she makes a little too much noise for my liking, but I walked away thinking she had a pretty bright future. Beautiful ball striker with good accuracy, good backhand, and to me she displayed some court smarts and seems to have a good feel for the game. In saying that, she could stand to add more variety, but to me it's something that could come in time. She often took the pace off to hit a big cross court angle, and she pretty much hit everything cleanly.

Vera eventually got on top due to her consistency and she clearly wore her down, but she won a set and continued her impressive start to the season.

What do people think she's got in store in terms of ranking, results at Slams ect? 10-15 (Slams... :p)? I can certainly see her in that 10-15 range, with a QF result in the next 12 months. Still very young, good prospect for Serbia.

I hope she reaches TOP 10 one day. She has a fun game. I call her BoJo :)

I think at most she'll reach somewhere between 20-25 range. When I watch her play all I can think of is "poor man's Rezai".

Similar kind of career as Shahar Peer I think, so around the 10-20 mark

Then you actually haven't watched her play.

I watched her play VS Bepa, and yes, that was what I thought of her game.

nowhere with a nickname like that.

hard to say, but potential ceiling of top10 and slam winner....minimum should really be top20

She should reach top 30 this year...top 10 in a couple of years. Whether she will is a different question but the potential is definitely there
