I really loved the way Petra played! Really wish she could have taken it to 3 sets!
Next time..

Does anybody here know who the British commentators were in this match? :)

In the end Radwanska was just too solid.
Her consistency made the difference.
Petra showed some beautiful play, some of the winners were :hearts:
It's like there was different person playing against Ferguson two days ago!
Positive signs for the rest of the season! :yeah:

I want to see an Aga-Kim match :lick:

I want to see that...although i think that Peng is in the way (hopefully experience of the occasion will get her through)...however even if she does make it to the QFs..Kim will crush her :bigcry:...i really hope Radwanska makes the QFs at least...she is one of my favorite tennis players style wise(because it is different and not ball bashing at all...she is smart on court...)

Aga playing on her normal level is clearly outside Halep's range
Unfortunately so far we've seen 50% Aga in Melbourne. That is why Simona has some chances.

Well done, Aga. She kept her cool, keeping errors down. The commentators really were talking up Martic. This was the first I've seen her play.

Petra :awww: She was so hot/cold in this match, flashes of brilliant touch with ease, then a horrible service game with wild errors and shanks.
Radwanska was always going to be too consistent with that level of play.

there were maybe some flashes of what Aga is capable off, but she is still VERY rusty, serves at 150km/h at most, and her uber-defensiveness is appalling. It's not too entertaining even for a fanboy  Though I would kill for Aga-Kim match :hearts:

Nice win, Aga!:bounce::bounce:

She did what she had to do in order to win, not more, not less.
Very happy her comeback from injury is going so well. R3 at AO!

Good luck vs Simona, Aga!;)

Ratwanska remains the Tour's top vulture. Only absolute dreck standing in her way to yet another Slam QF now. A QF in which she'll be butchered like always, but that's hardly any comfort.
