everybody gets a free ride these days. Seriously the players she has lost to since Wimbledon last year are down right appaling for a top 10 players(and no offense to fans of any of those players as i absolutely love Iveta): Yakimova,Diyas,Ammanmuradova,Benesova,Jovanovski,K anepi,Peng. Not counting the YEC she has had 10 losses since Wimbledon, all 10 were to players outside top 20 and 6 of the 10 were outside top 50.

After Chip Brooks went back to Miami and Jeca got injured in Wimbledon, everything fell apart for her. Not enough matches, not enough confidence, not enough belief. She was serving incredibly well in that first set against Peng until she started to lead 5-2, and she never hit another ace.
JJ is on her way out of the top 10, for the first time in so many years.

Deep slump is still continue, but there is also some signs of improvements! She is now at least able at start of the match to trash 6-0 players like Kudryavtseva or to lead 5-2 against in-form Peng, and JJ serve looks probably better than ever. I just hope that reason why she is able now to play only half hour of high level tennis is not body damage issues, but simple slow recovery from such deep crisis.
She lost her plot after splitting with Chip BrooksShe reach WTA#1 and GS final without him... so there is some way more serious reason for this career crisis.

Mods should delete this hateful topic mocking "The Empress" - She will win at least 4 grand slams in the next 3 years :smoke:
