I really like this pairing and still remember, they won Wimbledon 2006 in juniors. So I was always wondering, why they don't play more together on tour. Both Nastya and Alisa has good doubles skills. Maybe they can also make team in Olympics.

Agree with this above.... have been waiting for this team for a long time... Two TALENTS... I think they could be a huge force on the doubles tour together.

^Alisa is supposed to be playing with AMG at the Australian Open. I have no idea how that pairing will materialise!

Through to the semi-finals! :bounce: Could have been so much easier though but I'll take the win nonetheless. :p

Should have been easier. After Alisa lost those MP's on Cibulkova's serve in second set, I thought it's over. Especially the one at *30-40, when Cibulkova went on second serve (also twice let cord) and Alisa returned it well, but her next shot was a horrendous long out. It gave Cibulkova big momentum to win that set.

But well done Alisa anyway. It's successful beginning of the season, even I don't see much improvement in her game (compared to last year) yet.:yeah:

INTO the semis :) Ranking wise bit surprising potential wise up to standards.
