who is going to the AUSTRALIAN OPEN 2011?

I will be there, just trying to confirm flights and accommodation....anyone got some suggestions for some cheapish accommodation in cbd??

Yes of course I will be there! :D for the 5th consecutive year. I've got Hisense Arena tickets for all the days I'm attending...first 7 days.

Ill be there for first 3 days hisense, just making sure if i wanna go to RLA can i upgrade my hisense ticket? this will be my first time at AO i only normally go to sydney :D

I don't think you can upgrade a Hisense Arena ticket to a RLA. I had a look at the FAQ on the AO website & when it said you cannot upgrade a Ground Pass to a RLA (or something along the lines of that), it maybe the same for Hisense Arena tickets.

That's all I know.

But I remember this year I actually tried to get one of my ground passes upgraded for a RLA ticket, could do it but that RLA session was sold out. So I don't understand why they are not allowing RLA upgrades :shrug:

They might be offering but didnt mention, i cant find an email or phone number to ring and ask anywhere! its annoying cos i just wanted hisense and then if masha or dokic (if she gets in) are playing id just upgrade for that day to RLA :tears:

hey guys. i have been to the australian open the past 4 years and usually i just hunt for my favourite on the outside courts to try to find them.
i know its not available on the australian open website but does anyone know where i can get the practice court schedule like the day before or the day of the tournament?

They never give anyone the practise court schedule, but you can try and find a nice security guard and they will sometimes show you. Last year this lady security guard gave a few of us a look at the practise schedule she was so nice!

Just keep asking the security in the yellow shirts but generally ask the women as they are much more willing and if you have to just keep nagging them :lol:
